➢ Milky Mist Dairy Food Private Limited (MMD) is a FMCG and dairy brand and
one of India's biggest dairy product manufacturers.

➢ The company was founded in 1997 by T. Sathish Kumar in Perundurai, Tamil


Nadu, and is part of the Lactalis Group, one of the world's largest dairy
companies.

➢ Milky Mist is known for its high-quality products, world-class packaging, and
national distribution network.

➢ The roots of MMD can be traced back to the 1990s when a young Mr. T
Sathish Kumar obsessed with a desire to make it big in business took
over his father's losses in milk distribution.

QUALITY CONTROL:
➢ To reduce the travel and transportation time and ensure milk preservation quality
(maintained at 4-5 Celsius) ,set up its bulk milk chilling units of 2,000-3,000 liter
capacity at the village level
➢ Providing refrigeration units to local stores and retailers, they extended the shelf life
of their products like paneer , making them available to more customers.
➢ Refrigerated trucks with GPS for transportation ensures deliveries were on time and
safe
➢ High level of automation ensures that the entire manufacturing and processing is
completely handsfree and there is no direct human contact involved at any point in the
manufacturing, processing and packaging of its products with its in house designing
team.

• Rs. 1,450 crore in turnover for FY22-23(net profit of 32 crore compare to previous year), which is expected to reach
