"NURSING CARE IN CLIENTS OF CHILDREN WITH DIARRHEA"
Diarrhea is a condition of a child experiencing defecation with an abnormal
frequency within a day. According to WHO around two billion cases of diarrheal disease worldwide occur each year , and 3 million children under the age of 5 die from diarrhea . This research aims to study and understand deeply about nursing care in clients with diarrhea. This study uses a case study research method by conducting a literature review on nursing care . The unit of analysis is the client of children with diarrhea with two sources of case review different . The data collection method in this study was by reviewing nursing care with diarrhea cases in children from 2 different sources of literature . After a review of nursing care cases, the results found nursing diagnoses that can be enforced on the client 1 is diarrhea associated with physiological (infectious process), the risk of hypovolemia is characterized by lack of fluid intake, the risk of nutritional deficits is marked by psychological factors), the risk of impaired skin integrity is marked with mechanical factors (friction), and on the client 2 diarrhea is associated with physiological (infectious processes), and the risk of nutritional deficits is characterized by psychological factors. Diarrheal disease is the highest disease in children that can cause death, in children with diarrhea, children's personal hygiene, nutrition, and elimination patterns that occur in children must be considered . It is expected that health workers can improve their knowledge and skills in order to become professional health workers.
