Brief Description of Activities Conducted (Attach notes if available):
September 5, at 6:00 pm we the nutri-star group agreed to meet at the D103 room
as we need to review for our upcoming quiz. We have discussed about the topic that we
have learn from the past few days. Each one of us gave their thoughts and understanding to
those topics. We have discussed the micro and macro details about urban planning. We
have learned what is a city and some examples of the application of urban planning.
After we have discussed those learning we have agreed to summary those topics to
be printed out for us to have a reviewer. At 7:30pm we have taken some picture for
documentation. then at 8:00 we have agreed to go home and rest.

We, the nutri-star group gathered around at the old Pylon to tackle the activity given
to us in our REVIT subject. It was a vacant subject when we decided to meet and share
some of our advance knowledge about our computer laboratory class. We also share some
information on how we can create our project in a faster and easier way by sharing some
shortcuts and techniques.
In conclusion, the study group we conducted today gave us some insight and idea
about Revit and the activity the subject Professor required us to do.

On September 22, 2023, we the Nutri-Star Group decided to discuss with our Design
plates. Although we have different Design levels. We are assigned to design a Hotel and
Restaurant, Beach House and Residential Structures respectively. We made rough sketches
of Site Analyses and gathered Opinions about our Bubble Diagrams in preparation before
proceeding and making the technical plans. We first consider the spaces required for the
structures that we will design then we insist to assess and help each other of our progress
in our plates. After many revisions we partially come up with our very own site analyses
and bubble diagrams

On the 25th day of September, we agreed to proceed with our review for the
preparation on the upcoming exam. Despite the hectic schedule, free time were offered to
us to accomplish the study session.
The periods of topics were distributed to those who know the information in order
to clearly explain parts that are not clear for everyone. We mostly focus on codes that daily
affects our designs, National building code. Questions were partly exchange during the
discussion such as: "What's the minimum space for this area?", What are the accepted
design that will cover mainly the PWD or the user?", "What are the effects?" "What could
happen if this design is included during the process?" And many more. Steel and timber
design was also discussed along with the other major subjects. The overall meeting was
good because we were able to help one another regarding their concerns in their design
and questions were mostly answered during the session.

On October 9, 2023 we decided to do a refresher on our subject on Steel and Timber

Design We made the decision to set up a study session together since we intend to learn the
contents and upcoming quiz on steel and timber. we gathered in the study area close to the
D-Building around a cluttered chairs.
As we debate on different approaches and exchanged tips on problem-solving. The

camaraderie among us developed, turning a potentially stressful study session into a
collective effort to recall the subject. We then take short breaks by the canteen. Lastly, For
the remaining time we rewrite everything to make sure that we recall the topics that we
discussed.

On Friday, October 20, 2023, We gathered for a collaborative study session at the
benches near the school oval. The initial session began during the lunch break, held from
12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, centered on studying for our DESIGN subject and brainstorming
about different design solutions. the limited time prompted a decision to continue the
session in the afternoon, from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM, at the same location. The meeting was a
continuation of the previous topic, with each member tasked to formulate a unique design
solution. The session facilitated open discussions, enabling participants to share their
thoughts on proposed designs, exchange constructive feedback, and collectively refine
ideas for the given design challenge.
This two-part study session proved to be a valuable platform for us to collaborate
and delve into the difficulties design problems. The initial lunch break discussion laid the
groundwork for understanding key design principles and promoting a collective approach
to problem-solving. The afternoon session allowed for a deeper exploration of individual
ideas, promoting a collaborative environment where participants actively shared insights,
provided feedback, and collectively refined their design solutions.

We, the group of Nutri-Star decided to meet at October 27 to discuss about our
ongoing papers on our subject specifically, Urban Planning, in which we well have a
presentation to prepare for. We critically read the printed researched studies that will
serve as our back up information in which we will use as a basis for a profound outcome.
Each and everyone of us gave an interesting arguments regarding the task we are given to
accomplish. Later on, we discussed what must be done and right after we talk through
about it we ask each others if we are contented on what we accomplished that day in order
to avoid any vague ideas going on to prevent any kind of deficiency which we don’t want to
happen, especially on our presentation which will have a huge effect on our grade on the
subject matter.
After we finalized our presentation, we took our time to have a rehearsal before we
present in front of our professor incase we miss something and also to ease the pressure
upon presenting and hoped for positive results.

The group study session for the design subject took place in our patio, where we gathered
to collaborate on our individual design projects. As a team, we aimed to seek advice from one
another, resolve design challenges, and share insights to enhance our respective projects. The
group study comprised seven members each working on our unique design projects. Our diverse
perspectives in design provided a rich environment for constructive feedback and problem-
solving.
We initiated the session by discussing the challenges we encountered in our design
projects. Each member shared their specific concerns, such as material selection, user interface
design, and structural feasibility. Through open dialogue, we were able to identify common
issues and offer suggestions for improvement. Consultation and Collaboration: Throughout the
study session, we engaged in fruitful consultations, offering constructive criticism, and sharing
relevant design resources. By leveraging our collective knowledge and experiences, we were
able to address complex design problems and refine our concepts.

As the deadline for our final project in planning approached, our group decided to
have a group study session to ensure we were on track. We gathered in the patio, armed
with our notes and laptops, ready to dive into the project. After a brief discussion, we
distributed the tasks, making sure each group member had a clear understanding of their
responsibilities. Some focused on historical research, others on urban development, and a
few on cultural impact. With a sense of determination, we delved into our respective tasks,
exchanging ideas and resources as we worked.
As the hours passed, the patio buzzed with our collaborative energy, and gradually
our individual efforts started to form a cohesive project. By the end of the study session, we
had made significant progress and were excited about the direction our project was taking.
With a renewed sense of purpose, we left the patio, confident that we were well-prepared
to present a comprehensive and well-researched final project on planning.

November 17, 2023 at 3:00 we had decided to have a group study for our subject
Steel and Timber at the patio. It was for the preparation of our upcoming quiz and exam.
Each one of us share our knowledge in solving the given problem.Though it was hard for us
we were able to recap some way to solve the problem. After an hour we decided to take a
picture for our SSGP as we are going to our next class.
After our last subject in that day we decided to continue our group study were we
spend our time doing some paper work for our subject planning then we decided to go
home. Then from our houses we had our Gmeet for the next 2hours helping each other in
our subject design.

On the 4th day of December2023 we all agreed to proceed with our review for the
preparation on the upcoming final exam. Due to the differences of schedules and loads of
activities to our subjects we decided to assign each member a task where we have to
review parts of topics and discuss it to the group during the session. We focus mainly on
the subjects that are hard for us to comprehend, especially Steel and Timber Design. First

few rounds were hard for us due to lack of knowledge about solutions on the topic and only
few members know how to use formulas properly.
The remaining time for this session was used to identify the following steps. The
topics focused mainly on the Design of Beams, Columns, Plastic, and Elastic. Since some of
the members don’t have this subject, we decided to divide the group to maximize the given
time. As for the Design subject, the majority agreed to proceed with individual’s
responsibility and finish the remaining hours of session only by creating piece on their
projects. The overall session was good because we had a huge progress as a group and also
as an individual.

One vacant afternoon, we, the 4th year students, together with the higher year
architecture students met at the D building to have our students study group discussions.
We talked about our design plate for making a proposed public market. Some of the
students gave their insights and ideas, and some shared their research information about

the space planning and space requirements of the public market. We determined the
possible problems and how to provide solutions to the existing problems.
In conclusion, it was a fruitful and meaningful SSGP that gave us more ideas and
information about our plates.
