1. Identity based: social class, age, gender, culture,language,
nationality, family, etc.

2. Place based: cities, neighbourhoods, institutions, schools,


etc.
3. Organizational: students, teachers, dentists, lawyers, social
causes, etc.
4. Interest - based: online communities, social media, book
clubs, sport teams, etc.
5. Circumstantial Communities: (It’s constantly changing) bus
passengers, trips, participants, etc.

PART I:
Team work:
● In groups of 3 to 4 people create an online community using padlet.com
● In your padlet, propose a topic and invite your classmates to participate in your blog - discussion.
● Ask an open question about a topic and provide your opinion. Justify your answer with images, videos, songs, interviews,
facts, among others.
● Once you have created your padlet as a team, share it with the rest of the class and wait for them to participate.
● As a team you must answer every entry done by your classmates.
● Share the QR code with the rest of the class.
PART II: Individual work:
● Make a comment in every blog created by your classmates. Make sure you have written at least once in each padlet.
● PS. Emojis or little phrases are not acceptable as comments.
● You can also add images, memes, gifs, videos, among others.
● Remember to write your name at the end of each entry.
