MY FAVOURITE HOBBY

Activity that is undertaken for enjoyment, typically during one's leisure time is called
hobby. It can include reading, dancing, writing, sports, physical activities, learning new
skills and so on.
My favourite hobby is baking. I love to explore simple recipes and try it on my spare time.
I also enjoy reading, art, and colouring. Hobbies allows me to engage my mind and explore
my interests and passions. I always feel fulfilled and rejuvenated after indulging in my
favourite hobbies.
I got this interest from my grandmother who loves baking as well. As I grew, my interest
in baking cookies and cake intensified. I would go to parties and observe the cakes, desserts,
and cookies. I will surely take a snap of it. Then, I would come home and ask my
grandmother on how to do it. As my curiosity grew, my family encourages me more and I
looked forward to pleasing them. I bought cookbooks and learned new ways to make a
great cakes and cookies without fuss. I baked all kinds of easy cakes and cookies as
desserts.
So, it became my hobby to bake something for tea time especially. My family will enjoy
the desserts and gave positive and supporting comments. On fine morning, my uncle rang
up and informed that he will visit us in the evening together with his family. I was so excited
to get another opportunity to display my talent. I planned to bake a cake. The cake turned
out better than expected and relations never stopped thanking me.
Baking is my way of relaxing. I loved the smile on people’s faces when they taste my cake
or cookies. My parents were proud I found a hobby that I love and could keep to it at this
age. Each time I bake, I feel a spark of joy in my soul. In future I will surely open a bakery
and baked all kind of cakes, pies, desserts, and cookies with a concept ‘Baked with love
and care’.
