Chapter 1: Origin and structure of Earth (Lesson 1 and 2)
Insights:
 According to Big bang the universe started from a single point called Singularity.
 The singularity has undergone inflation to the universe known today.

• The big bang theory also suggested that the universe is constantly moving and was
proven because of the discovery of Edwin Hubble

• This event happened 13.8 billion yrs. Ago

• There are six major events that occurred after the Big Bang

 According to Steady State Theory the universe is unchanging

 Steady state theory also believed that new matters are created as the universe expands
to keep the same density.
 Oscillating universe suggested that the universe may end someday.

• Eternal Inflation Theory implies that the inflation will never stop.

• These theories were disproved because of lack of evidence.
