All students from grades 6-10 (M1-M5) follow the Physical and Health Education (PHE) Middle
Years Programme and have three PHE lessons per week. The PHE programme provides a
foundation for every student’s physical and social development. It is designed to develop Agency, Action and Engagement
positive attitudes towards physical activities and to instill a desire for life-long involvement in Lydia Dennison
sport. The programme is co-educational and structured to provide students with a wide range of Apr 4 2024 9:10 AM
activities which includes striking and fielding, invasion games, health related fitness, global
games, athletics and aesthetic activities. Swimming is an integral part of the PHE curriculum at My learnings from Agency, action and
