We sincerely thank all those who have contributed and are still contributing tour
parish project so far. Thank you so much. Please note that installmental payments
are very much encouraged. This will help you better to meet up with your pledges.
Remember, “little drops of water”, they say “make a mighty ocean”. May the Lord
bless your generosity.

To this end, the last Sunday of each month would be Pledge Redemption Sunday
for the Building Project, for this month it shall be on the 28th July 2024. Please take
this to heart.

 NOTICE: Henceforth, there will be no charging of phones inside the

 ST. VINCENT DE-PAUL: Secret bag collection comes up every 1st Sunday
of the month. Please give generously. Members of St. Vincent De-Paul are
also calling on parishioners to go to their clinic behind the church to have
their sugar level checked.
  SCHOOL OF FAITH AND LEADERSHIP (S.O.F.): Archdiocese of
Benin City. Admission is currently on going at an affordable price in the
School of Faith.
QUALIFICATION: Any Catholic at any age who can read and write

PRAYER AGAINST BRIBERY AND CORRUPTION IN NIGERIA

Father in heaven, you always provide for all your creatures so that all may live as
you have willed. You have blessed our country Nigeria with rich human & natural
resources to be used for your honour & Glory and for the well-being of every
Nigerian. we are deeply sorry for the wrong use of these your gifts and blessings
through act of injustice, bribery & corruption as a result of which many of our
people are hungry, sick, ignorant and defenceless.
Father, you alone can heal us and our nations of this sickness, we beg you, touch
our lives and the lives of all our leaders and people so that we may all realise the
evil of bribery and corruption and work hard to eliminate it.

Raise up for us, God-fearing people and leaders who care for us and who will lead
us in the part of peace, prosperity and progress. We ask this through Christ our
Lord, Amen.

PRAYER FOR NIGERIA IN DISTRESS

All powerful and merciful father, you are the God of justice, love and peace. You
rule over the nations of the earth. Power and might are in your hands and no one
can withstand you.

We present our country Nigeria before you. We praise and thank you for you are
the source of all we have and are. We are deeply sorry for all the sins we have
committed and for the good deeds we have failed to do. In your loving forgiveness,
keep us safe for the punishment we deserve.

Lord we are weighed down, not only by uncertainties but also by moral, economic
and political problems. Listen to the cries of your people who confidently turn to
you. God of infinite goodness, our strength in adversity, our help in weakness, our
comfort in sorrow, be merciful to us your people, spare this nation Nigeria from
chaos, anarchy and doom, bless us with your kingdom of justice, love and peace.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
