• Summer Vacation is the best and the most fruitful time for
learning and nurturing creativity. Keeping this objective in
mind we have planned diverse and exciting activities that will
enhance your knowledge and boost your creativity.

“Knowledge is Power”. Therefore, read lots and lots of books

to cultivate the reading habit and develop your vocabulary,
language skills, increase your attention span and improve your
spellings.

• “A healthy mind lives in a healthy body”. So, play the sport

of your choice INDOORS. It will help to instill discipline,
generate sporting spirits and channelize your energies
constructively.

• Get up early in the morning and see the rising sun. Do indoor
exercises / yoga and stay healthy and fit. Spend quality time
with your elders and share your thoughts and ideas with them.

• Eat healthy food and drink lots of water during summer.

• As your holidays are approaching, it is the best and fruitful

time for learning and for nurturing creativity. Your teachers
have designed interesting worksheets as a part of Subject
Enrichment. The Holiday Homework would not only enhance
skills but also increase your ability to explore & learn. It would
teach you to work independently and would also develop
personal skills and time management
Dear Parents

Vacation is a welcome break! Summer vacation are synonymous

with fun, frolic, getting up late, playing for longer hours and
watching fun filled shows on television. There is a lot more we can
do to make these vacations
More interesting.

Guidelines to make the summer break more fruitful

• Play games like scrabble, chess, atlas and word building.

• Assign a permanent workplace and a work-time for your child. This
encourages discipline.
• Inculcate good manners- 4 magic words ‘please, thank you, excuse
me, sorry’-use them and see the difference.
• Encourage your child to help around the house work and do small
household jobs like dusting, watering the plants, laying dinner table
etc.
• Guide the child to keep his /her room and things clean and well
organized.
• Motivate your child to take up yoga or any other form of healthy
activity.
• As much as possible, try to converse in English with your child.
• Encourage your child to read books (e books) ,newspaper & and
children’s magazines

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SEWA FOLDER

• Prepare an A-4 size folder using biodegradable material available at

home.
• The project is to be presented on A-4 size ruled sheets and organized
in the folder neatly.
• The report of each activity should be either typed in MS Word or
written neatly with pen and it should include the below mentioned
information:
-Date (on which the activity is done)
-Title of the activity -An evidence(supporting photo)
-A write up in around 100 words explaining your contribution & your
feelings .

as you can
