SECTION 1 – SCOPE OF WORK

1. SCOPE OF WORK

The WORK included under this section comprises the provision of all
materials, plant and labour of whatever kind necessary for the complete and
proper supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning, completion,
handling over, operation maintenance and servicing during the Defect
Liability Period of the following works in complete accordance with the
Specification and Drawings to the entire satisfaction of the Superintending
Officer.

The system shall be complete and functional in all respects and shall comply
with the relevant statutory requirements and shall include all items necessary
for efficient operation. The Contractor shall include all permit and inspection
fees payable to all authorities, overtime payment and all other charges and
cost necessary to authority approvals for full operation of the system.

The work covered under this specification is as listed here under, but not
limited to, :-

i) Supply and install the complete 11kV Electrical System that includes
Switchgears, Transformers, Battery, Electrical and Control Cabling
works and all other works for a complete installation.

ii) Supply and install the complete 415V Electrical System that includes
Main Switchboards, Sub switchboards, Distribution boards, Metering
Panels, electrical and control cabling works, light fittings, switch
socket outlets, isolators, Genset installation, external manhole and
ducting works, street/compound lighting and all other works for a
complete installation.

iii) Supply and install the complete Earthing System from Ground Floor
to Roof level inclusive of Lightning Protection Earth, Electrical
Distribution Earth (Frame and Neutral), Supply Intake (TNB) earth
and Telecommunication Earth. The scope includes earthing copper
tape, earth chamber, exothermic welding, earth loop at ground floor
slab and all necessary works for a complete installation.

iv) Supply and install the complete Telephone System that includes
Optical Distribution Frame (ODF), Fiber Termination Box (FTB), Fiber
Wall Sockets (FWS), cabling works, external manholes and ducting
works and all other works for a complete installation.

v) Supply and install the complete Extra Low Voltage System that
includes CCTV System, Barrier Gate System, Public Address
System, cabling works, manholes, ducting works and all other works
for a complete installation.

vi) All cable ladder/cable tray/trunking/conduit colour scheme is subject

to architect approval.

v) Testing, commissioning and handling over the whole Electrical,

Telephone & Extra Low Voltage System installation to the satisfaction
and approval of the engineer and Client.
