6 GENERAL FEATURES

6.1 Description of the change

The change consists in installing a parameters recorder called “HELICOM V2+ ANA” system on
rotorcraft type AB206 models A & B.
It is expected to provide a set of integrated services of fleet management and analysis of flights,
available on Internet, after the automatic transfer of data acquired during the flight, after each flight.
It is not part of the functions required for the safety of a flight.

13 PARAMETERS SET UP AND MAIN DEVICE INSTALLATION

13.1 Pre requisite

ISEI provides a Tool Kit reference TKAMWS to configure devices HELICOM V2+ ANA.
It is a test computer with specific software connected to the equipment by a USB cord.

Refer UM-TKAMWS manual available on the website www.helisafe.aero, space subscriber,

support section.

This tool allows:

- Step 1: to record in ISEI database, H/C number, the application number, the part and serial
numbers installed
- Step 2: to download the set up of PN4720P-xx, PN4730P-xx
- Step 3: to transfer the set up in PN4720P-xx, PN4730P-xx
- Step 4: to perform a functional control
- Step 5, 6 and 7: to record the results of airworthiness controls

13.2 Working
Refer maintenance manual MM-PN47XX available on the website www.helisafe.aero, space
subscriber, support section.
Insert the SIM Card (PN2802) in its slot.
Connect the battery (PN4002P) in its slot.

13.3 Setting NOT E ASA APPROVE D

Perform steps 1, 2 and 3 forecasted in the TKAMWS in order to initialize the main device.

13.4 Installing the main device

Screw the box with two keys « Allen » (3 mm diameter), symmetrically left and right.

14 CONTROLS AFTER INSTALLATION

14.1 General
These controls are done to check that:

The FDMS HELICOM V2+ ANA runs properly,

There is no-interference with equipments already installed.

Those are done in five phases:

1. FDMS inspection, engine stopped
2. Non-interference controls engine stopped
3. FDMS inspection, on ground, engine running
4. Non-interference controls, on ground, engine running
5. Non-interference controls, in flight

14.2 Controls conditions

Controls described below are conducted at the end of the installation of the approved change.

14.3 Prerequistees for performing the inspections

Controls are done by an authorized workshop.
Controls are performed by using a tool kit provided by ISEI and the installer (see description
below), procedures or methods if equipments can not be controled by tools or devices.
NOT E ASA APPROVE D

14.4 Controls results

The results are entered by the installer using the Tool Kit
At the end of the control, data and results are sent to servers located in ISEI.
The minutes of the controls are posted on the site www.helisafe.aero
