to the above floor level.
When the car is stopped at other ftoor, check that the tocking pin on the
landtfig door interk)ck devKe is operated within the hole on the landing door
blade smoothly by tumkig the emergency door key.
(Refer to the following figure A)

At this time, it shoukl be kept going in and out wtthout blocking or obstacle.
(Refer to the folk)Wing figure B)

In this case, liner of 1 -3mm thickness is required for the ac^usiment of gap

4) DIP Switch Setting for Encoder Funclton (FUNCTION SWITCH)
Set the DIP SwiichO Pin) on the left center of MCPU Board according to the
Setectlon of Elevator Speed and Function of a applied model as follows.
<FUNCTION SWITCH Setting Table>

SWt SW2 SW3

STATE \ .
ON 45 M/Min REP. Mode MEM. Mode
OFF 30 hA/Mw\ LOP. Mode RET. Mocte

Note) For 60m/min speed, the setting of Dip SwitcNFUi^TiON SWITCH) is not
requH^ed.

(0 Regenerate Pattem (REP) Mode '

This nrtode is used for resetting the deceleration distance and the braking time
t}y calculating the encoder puise/distance rate after initializing operation.
* When attempting the initializvig operation again, the encoder pulse/distance
rate can be different from the values prevkjusly measured, so the data
prevk>usty input can be changed slightly.

C2) Load Back Pattern (LOP) Mode :

This mode is used for nnaintaining tfie data of the deceleration d^tance and
the braking time prevbusly set by calculatHig the encoder pulse/distance rate
after the initializing operatk>n.

* It's comfortable to use the LOP Mode as it enables to measure the floor(dcck)
heights without changing the parameters previously set.

CJ) Floor Memory (MEM) Mode :

This nfKKle enables the elevator operates normally from the present ftoor when
the system is recovered from the error status or power failure.

(<) Based Fk»r Return (RET) Mode -

When this mode is selected, the elevator returns to the k>west landing ftoor
when the s^tem is recovered from the error status or power failure.
This mode can be useful when the Back-up Battery is not used at the position
control part.
* Example) ^i case of 45m/min speed, the DIP switch setting (FUNCTION swrrcH)
for the Elevator Speed. LOP Mode and MEM Mode is as foltows.

5) High Speed Tost Run and Adjustmcnl

0> Short nun and Long Run Test with Momentary Jump
a) Short Run Test
a-1) When the elevator is at the top landing door with "AUTO" status, put the
ADlAuto Door) Switch on TCB Board at the 'Normal" Status.
Then jumper the terminal N24 with the terminal OS of the SIO Bgard
corresponding to the next below floor landing call down momentarily for
registering a call.

a-2) Then the landing call from the next below landing floor is input and the
elevator shall move down to the next below floor. At Ihts lime, check the
deceteraiion is made smoothly and if necessary, adjust the mverter data or
change the decclcralion distance data of the fwlCPU Board, so that the
elevator operates in creep speed tor 1 2 seconds.
ff the deceleration distance data is changed, the distance of the Final Limit
Switch in hoistway(trunk) should be also changed.
(Refer to the changing the deceleration distance data of the MCPU Board)

a 3) Until the deceleration and landing become smooth and satisfactory, repeat
the short run lest and adjust it as explained at^iove.

b) Long Run Test

b 1) After the short run lesl. regsler a hall call at c;(;rtain floor.
While the elevator is running and decelerating, check the elevator operation
status and adjust the riding quality and the landing leveling errors.
(2) Short Run Test and Long Run Test with Key Pad
a) Short Run Test
a-1) Turn ON the AD Switch on TCB Board
Input/output of the landmg calls and the car door open/close command are
not executed.
a-2) Set the data of the address Q200H as ' O f with the key pad on MCPU
Board.

CAUTION
Setting the data with the key pad is posstole, only when the elevator
is stopped.

a-3) When the data is set, repeat operating the elevator to stop and run each
landing fk>or and check the de<%leraticMi distance is proper.
If necessary, change the data referring to the Table F-3 Operatk)n Method
of Key-Pad (HI MCPU Board for Dec^leratk>n Distance Data Adjusting Mode
on page 26-27 and the Appendix 1 Standard Deceleratk)n D^tance Table.

a-4) When the 'Reset Button' on MCPU Board is pressed, this operation mode is
stopped.

b) Long Run Test

b-1) Tum ON the AD switch on TCB board

input/output of the landing calls and the door open/ctose command are not
executed.

b-2) Set the data of the address 0201H as ' 0 1 ' with the key pad on MCPU
txiard.

CAUTION
Setting the data with the key pad is po^ible, only when the etevator is
stopped.

b-3) When the data is set, repeat operating the car to stop and run each other
fk)or and check the deceleratk>n distance is proper. If necessary, change the
data refen^mg to the Table F-3 Operation Method of Key Pad on MCPU
Board for Deoeieratnn Distance Data Adjusting Mode on page 2 6 - 2 7 and
the Appendix 1 Standard Deceleratk>n Distance Tabk;.

b 4) When the 'Reset Button' on MCPU Board is pressed, this operation mode is
stopped.

69
(3) Car Position Indicaior Test
This test is uselul for the electrician checking the car position indicator oulputs
and the car door operation status.

a) Under the auiomaiic operation mode, when itie elevator stands by at a floor
with the car doors closed, sel the data of the address 0202H as ' 0 1 ' with Ihe
key pad on MCPU Board,
The car calls and the down landing call at lop ftoor only shall be responded,
but other up/down landing calls shall not be responded.

b) Press the down landing button al the top fk>or and the elevator shall arrive at
the top floor and opens the car door normally.
Until the door close button is pressed, the car door is opened and the landing
indicator signals shall t>e output as lolkjws.
- The floor number shall vary from the lowest ftoor to Ihe top floor.
Up and Down direction lamp shall vary in sequence.

Ttie outputs of the car position indicator shall be same as above.

When the door close button is pressed, above indicator output signals shall be
return to NORMAL

c) When the 'Reset Button' on MCPU Board ir. [)resseri, this operation mode is
stopped.

{*) Temporary Cancellation of Optional Functions

When error " F i a " or ''F28" appear during high speed lesl run.
a) If communication catjie is not provided while the duplex operation Is requred.
"FtS" error appears and car calls shall be made for every other floor which
shall cause tficonvenience for the high speed test run. In this case, when
temporary cancellation of the duplex operatK)n is required, il can be cancelled
or reset according to Ihe procedure explained at item c).

b) By setting the data 'Ot* at the address 1002 with the key pad on MCPU
Board, the duplex operation can be cancelled.
After finishing the high speed test run, be sure to set the data "00" at the
address 1002.

(5) Other Check Points

a) Turn ON the door switch, check Ihe car door open/close status and adjust It so
that the car door operates normally.

70
b) By riding in elevator, check whether the elevator Is operating normally by the
car call.
c) Check that car position indicators at landings and landing buttons of all floors
operate normally. Then check the indk:ator m car also operates normally.
d) Adjust and set the tandhig vane in hoistwaydnink) so that the landing error is
within tt>e limit * 5mm.
e) Check the overall operation status of the standard features.
f) Check the optional features are operating exactly.
g) Clean the elevator fk>or, car inskie, machine room, door part and pit.
