Dear's,

It gives me immense pleasure to draw your attention to the successful

series of tournaments hosted by Chess in Lakecity, Udaipur. Since 2008,
we have organized over 200 events, including 40 FIDE and AICF
recognized events, such as Grand Master events and International FIDE
rating tournaments (list enclosed). This achievement places us among
the largest organizers in North India under the aegis of the Rajasthan
Chess Association and AICF.
This year, we have continued our commitment to chess by
organizing events up to June 2024. We submitted our bids for events
scheduled for September and December 2024 in April. Unfortunately,
despite nearly three months of efforts, we have not received the event
codes (reasons still unknown). Therefore, in response to strong demand
and requests from chess players, we are continuing our league as an
open tournament until AICF clears our event codes.
On behalf of Club Chess in Lakecity, we invite everyone to join
us for a wonderful chess experience.
Chess in Lakecity has also organized numerous events for the
benefit of chess players. Lakecity have conducted coaching camps,
including International Master camps guided by Shri Anup Deshmukh
and Shri Neeraj Kumar Mishra and Selifonova Aleksandra From Russia
providing invaluable training to our students. Additionally, lakecity have
hosted two Senior National Arbiter seminars and one FIDE Arbiter
seminar to develop a strong cadre of arbiters within Lakecity.
Moreover, we have had the honor of welcoming Super
Grandmasters Vidit Santosh Gujrathi and Adhiban B Who As a Guest in
Our Fide Rating Chess. Who inspired our students and shared insights
on personal growth through chess. Deputy Chair, FIDE Management
Board WGM Dana Reizniece-Ozola also visited Udaipur to witness the
chess in schools program and the development of chess driven by Chess
in Lakecity over the years.

2. Players qualified for more than one prizes will be considered only for
the higher prize.

4. The organizing Committee has the right to accept or reject any entry
without assigning any reason.

Tournament Rules:
System of Play: The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of
Chess and FIDE Swiss System with 9 rounds.
Default Time (Walk Over Time) The default time will be 30 minutes
Tie Break: In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come in to effect. The
Cash prizes however will not be shared.
Electronic Devices: - All electronic items including wrist watches (all type of
watches) are not allowed in the tournament hall.
Parents and accompanying persons are not allowed inside tournament hall at
all times.
Players are obliged to undergo random RT PCR/Antigen Test conducted by
the organizing committee if needed.
Due to any unforeseen scenario, if the event needs to be cancelled, then
Chess in Lakecity obligation is limited to refunding the entry fee paid by the
players.
Indian Income Tax Act and Rules will be applicable
