COMMITTEES AND TIERS
At PVMUN'24, we have designed our committee structure to cater to delegates with
varying levels of Model UN experience. Our tiered system ensures that each delegate
can participate in committees that match their expertise and skill level.

NOTE: The tier system serves as a guideline for delegates rather than an eligibility
criterion. Delegates are encouraged to register for any committee regardless of their
experience level, and their choice is not restricted by the tier system.

TIER 1 :
Tier 1 committees are crafted for delegates who are new to the Model UN experience
or those seeking a more relaxed atmosphere conducive to learning about the structure
and procedures without the pressure of rigorous competition. This tier provides a
supportive environment where delegates can build foundational skills, such as public
speaking and resolution drafting and networking.

Committees under Tier 1:

Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS)

TIER 2:
Tier 2 committees cater to delegates with some experience in Model UN who are
ready to engage with more complex topics and moderate competition. These
committees require a deeper understanding of international issues and more advanced
debating and negotiation skills. They serve as a bridge between beginner and
advanced levels.

Committees under Tier 2:

United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)
All India Political Party Meet (AIPPM)

TIER 3: Tier 3 committees are crafted for delegates who wants to thrive in highly
competitive environment. These committees involve high-stakes debates, crisis
simulations, and intricate historical contexts, requiring advanced research, fostering an
atmosphere of intense competition and intellectual rigor.

REGISTRATION OVERVIEW
Registration for PVMUN'24 has been designed to ensure
fairness and efficiency for all participants. In departure from
traditional models featuring varied registration types such as
Early Bird, Normal, and Lightning, PVMUN'24 introduces a
phase-wise registration system. Throughout all phases,
registration fees will remain consistent, ensuring equitable
access to the conference experience.

To enhance fairness and transparency, committee allotments

will also be influenced by an average comparison of the
experiences of delegates who have expressed similar
preferences within the same registration timeframe.

Upon completing your registration and payment verification,

your committee preferences will be forwarded to the Delegate
Affairs team. This team possesses extensive knowledge about
each committee and the relevance of each country for the
agenda, ensuring you receive the best possible assignment
based on your experience and preferences. You will receive
an official email confirming your registration and the details of
your assignment once each phase ends.

completing their registration by filling out a Google form and

assessed for accuracy and completeness. Once the review is
completed, the registration is forwarded to the Allotment Desk
for further processing. At this stage, the Allotment Desk
allocates resources or opportunities to the delegate based on
their preferences and availability. Finally, delegates are
notified about their allotment status within 6-8 working days
after the respective phase closes
