Many businesses are struggling to survive and stunted growth has been
commonplace.Ultimately closure becomes unavoidable. You are required to
identify factors that causes businesses to struggle and fail.

CALA

The Cala has three parts , A , B and C. You must complete all the parts .

PART A

Carry out a research on organizations identifying factors that causes businesses to


struggle and fail.

In your research,you may include observations,questionnaires, interviews, record


notes and take pictures

PART B

Present your findings on the responses given and observations made.

PART C

Draft a write up on the causes of business failure and the possible solutions.

How you would be assessed:

Facilitator will consider the originality and explanations on motivation.

To assess your presentation, your facilitator will consider your research materials,
explanations about motivation.

Achievement standards specific to this CALA will be provided so that you are
aware of the assessment criteria.
