- sh: WASH →WASHES - ch: WATCH → WATCHES
- ss: MISS→MISSES
- consonante + y: CRY → CRIES (la y se cambia por i y luego agrega –ES)
En todos los demás casos, solo se agrega –S: PLAY → PLAYS / EAT → EATS

En las oraciones negativas y en las preguntas, se usa el auxiliar y el verbo en


infinitivo
