Symptom
Error message "M7036 - No goods receipt possible for purchase order & &" when posting a Goods Receipt for a
Purchase Order.

Cause
The Purchase Order for which the error is raised is subject to a Confirmation Control Key that contains a Confirmation
Category set as GR-Relevant, but there is no confirmation in the Purchase Order or the Confirmation Category that is GR-
Relevant is missing.
Check the Confirmation Control Key in the Confirmation tab in the Purchase Order (ME23N)

Find the Confirmation Control Key customizing in the path OLME > Confirmations > Set Up Confirmation Control

Due to the customizing above, system expects a confirmation line in the PO to be able to post Goods Receipt.

Resolution
To be able to post Goods Movement without error M7036, check the following:
a) Remove the Confirmation Control Key in ME22N or;
b) Create a confirmation for the GR-Relevant Confirmation Category.

As a result, LA (or any other Confirmation Category that is set as GR-Relevant in your system) will be found:

The next step will be reading the confirmations from EKES, expecting to find an entry with the GR-Relevant Confirmation
Category.

Since there is no confirmation from LA Confirmation Category in the PO (see the first image in this Article), the error M7036
will be reaised.
