Laboratory Exercise #9
Proposed System
Objectives:

At the end of the exercise, the students should be able to:

 describe the proposed system,

 identify the process specifications and data specifications, and
 identify the screen layout, report, and program specifications.

Materials:

 PC or Laptop with internet connection

Procedures:

1. Tell your students that this laboratory exercise is a continuation of the last laboratory session.

2. Give the students time to research and discuss with their group about their proposed system.

3. Each group should be able to complete their documentation with the following information:

a. System Overview
b. Process Specification
 Data Flow Diagram
 Data Dictionary
c. Data Specifications
 Entity Relationship Diagram
 Tables / Files Layout
d. Screen Layout / Specifications
e. Report / Form Specifications
f. Program / Module Specifications

4. The font face of the document should be Arial, font size of 10 and paper size should be A4.

5. All documentations, including the documents of 05 Laboratory Exercise 1, 05 Laboratory Exercise

2, 06 Laboratory Exercise, and 07 Laboratory Exercise must be submitted after the next laboratory
session.
