Zero-traffic cell investigation

According to the OMC cell traffic statistics, if there are RRC requests, but the cell traffic is zero or
extremely low, first check the key parameters related to the rate, abnormal alarms and interference,
etc. If such factors are excluded, the following troubleshooting steps are recommended:

1) Field test, if there is weak coverage, low SINR and other factors that cause the MCS level to fail, solve
weak coverage and co-channel interference;

2) If the attachment fails or cannot reside, track the background standard signaling and internal
signaling, and locate and troubleshoot according to the signaling process;

3) Normal residence, but the traffic is extremely low, the packet filling test, RSRP and SINR are good and
stable, if the packet filling rate is abnormal (the theoretical rate cannot be reached), the MTS signaling
trace is performed on the OMC side at the same time as the packet filling, and the terminal test is
performed by wireshark capture package, report to the response group for processing;

4) The filling rate is normal, and the test rate is abnormal. Basically, the problem can be defined as a
large number of packet loss or disorder above S1. You can also capture and locate packets through the
S1 port. If the packet is only retransmitted without new transmission, that is, there is packet loss above
the S1 port.
