Mr. Reeves:
On May 17, 2024, Clinton High School self-reported that an ineligible player participated in varsity
football games during the 2023 season. It was reported to you that a student had received only five
credits during the previous school year. Upon further review of the student's transcript it was found
that an additional credit was earned for government and economics. These credits were placed in the
wrong place on the transcript. Those credits were placed under 2022 instead of 2023, where they
should have been placed.
As you can see from the attached transcript, the student had five credits listed for the 2023 school year.
This is what the self-report was based on. However, after be notified that a mistake was made, we
looked into how many credit recovery courses the student took after he enrolled at Clinton High School.
Attached please find copies of Odysseyware Student Progress Reports that indicate the number of
courses completed. Please note that the dates of completion are 5/15/23, which are proof that he
completed and earned credits for six classes.
