The All Stars Volleyball Academy (this activity has an additional cost)
Under the guidance of Alberto Ozuna, head coach of the Federation of National Volleyball
in Guatemala, offers an unparalleled opportunity for aspiring athletes. Students enrolled
in this academy undergo intensive training, honing their skills and deepening their
understanding of volleyball with a focus on sport development. The program not only
emphasizes individual improvement but also provides avenues for participants to engage
in local and national tournaments, presenting numerous opportunities.

Athletics & Physical Conditioning


This program is dedicated to fostering physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Participants actively partake in diverse sports and conditioning exercises aimed at
improving their skills, overall health, and well-being. This fun class seeks to instill
discipline, commitment, and teamwork through engaging in athletic activities.

Basketball Team for Elementary School (Grades 1-5)


The basketball program is designed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and
sportsmanship. Participants actively engage in basketball-related activities and
conditioning exercises to enhance their skills, overall health, and well-being. Participants
will have the opportunity to represent the school in local tournaments and events.

Boys’ Volleyball
Participants actively engage in volleyball-related activities and conditioning exercises to
enhance their skills, overall health, and well-being. This extracurricular class constitutes
another practice option for our students that have chosen Volleyball as their elective
club during curricular classes.

Choir
The choir program is dedicated to cultivating musical expression, teamwork, and artistic
growth. Participants actively engage in vocal training, rehearsals, and performances to
refine their musical skills and foster a sense of unity. Emphasizing that singing is an
expression of the soul, the choir ECA encourages participants to connect emotionally
with the music, promoting not only technical proficiency but also a deep and personal
connection to the art of vocal expression.

Coding by CODIFICA (this activity has an additional cost)


The coding program is centered on developing programming skills, problem-solving
abilities, and collaborative teamwork. Participants actively engage in coding exercises,
projects, and practical applications to refine their coding proficiency and enhance their
problem-solving aptitude. The program aims to instill a passion for technology and
creativity through hands-on experiences.

CSD Municipal Football Academy (this activity has an additional cost)
The football (soccer) program is dedicated to fostering physical fitness, teamwork, and
sportsmanship. Participants actively engage in soccer-specific drills, training sessions,
and matches to refine their skills, overall health, and well-being. Emphasizing the beauty
and strategy of the sport, the program aims to instill a love for football and teamwork
through active participation in soccer-related activities. Participants will become part of
the prestigious Club Social y Deportivo Municipal, a leading football club in Guatemala.

Soccer Team for Elementary School


The soccer program focuses on enhancing physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Participants actively participate in soccer drills, training sessions, and matches to refine
skills and overall well-being. Participants will have the opportunity to represent the
school in local tournaments and events.

English Games for Grades 1-4


The English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learning through games program for
Elementary School students is designed to make language acquisition enjoyable and
effective. Through a variety of interactive games and activities, participants engage in
language learning while having fun. The program focuses on building fundamental
English language skills such as vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation in a playful and
dynamic environment. Tailored for Elementary School students, this EFL program aims
to create a positive and engaging language learning experience, fostering both linguistic
proficiency and a love for learning.

English Language Arts & Speech Support Project


The English Language Arts Support program, influenced by the principles of Waldorf
education, goes beyond conventional methods to embrace the art of speech. In addition
to reinforcing fundamental language skills, the program places a special emphasis
on cultivating expressive and articulate communication. Through engaging activities,
students develop a comprehensive understanding of the artistic elements of language.
This approach aligns with Waldorf education principles, fostering not only linguistic
proficiency but also a deep appreciation for the artistry of effective communication.

Equestrian Academy La Loma (this activity has an additional cost)


The Equestrian Academy offers a diverse experience, including equinotherapy, animal
encounters, and horseback riding. Participants benefit from therapeutic interactions
with horses, engage in meaningful encounters with various animals, and learn essential
riding skills. This comprehensive program promotes physical well-being, empathy, and
responsibility through a unique blend of equine-related activities.

German as a Foreign Language for Beginners (Monday & Wednesday
commitment)
The German as a Foreign Language program for beginners is tailored to introduce
foundational language skills. This program focuses on providing a supportive
environment for students who are new to the German language. Through interactive
lessons and activities, beginners learn basic vocabulary, grammar, and communication
skills. The program aims to establish a solid linguistic foundation while fostering an

Girls´ Volleyball
The Girls’ Volleyball program is dedicated to fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and

Handwork
The Handwork program, inspired by Waldorf education, emphasizes the importance of
hands-on activities in learning. Through crafts like knitting and sewing, students not
only develop fine motor skills and creativity but also experience the intrinsic satisfaction
of creating with their hands.

International Cuisine
In alignment with Waldorf education principles, the International Cuisine program not
only introduces participants to a rich array of global flavors but also emphasizes the
appreciation for complete processes. Beyond the act of cooking itself, the program
encourages students to understand the cultural context, ingredients, and techniques
involved in each dish. This holistic approach mirrors Waldorf philosophy, fostering a
deeper connection with learning about cultures and the completion of processes.

Painting
The Painting program is a creative outlet for artistic expression, exploring various
techniques and mediums. Students will develop technical skills and imaginative thinking,
fostering an appreciation for the artistic process.

Piano
The Piano program is a musical journey exploring piano playing, focusing on technical
proficiency, rhythm, and the joy found within music. Through lessons, students develop

The School Newspaper & Journalism Club is a dynamic platform where students explore

Scouts Academy by Asociación Scouts de Guatemala (this activity has an

String Instruments
The String Instruments program offers a rich musical experience, exploring instruments

music.

Study Hall
The Study Hall for all grade levels offers a dedicated space for focused academic work,
providing students with valuable academic support. Designed to cultivate good study
habits and time management skills, this program fosters a positive and concentrated
atmosphere. It aims to support students in various grades, promoting a culture of
continuous learning and achievement.

Yôga + Midfullnes Academy by Miri Valenzuela (this activity has an


additional cost)
The Yoga + Mindfulness Academy combines the benefits of yogasana and mindfulness
practices to promote physical and mental well-being. Participants engage in yoga sessions
that emphasize flexibility, balance, and relaxation, coupled with mindfulness techniques
to enhance awareness and stress management. This holistic program encourages a
harmonious connection between the body and mind, fostering a sense of tranquility and
mindfulness in daily life.

Catholic Catechesis
Program developed by a volunteer group of our school’s Catholic community for children
to prepare for their First Communion.

Catholic Confirmation
Program developed by a volunteer group of our school’s Catholic community for
adolescents to prepare for their Confirmation.
