My name is Loan. I am excited to join this course with you.

I think language is like a slice of cake. Cake is food. Each cake

has its own taste, so we always want to taste it. Language also
has its own interesting things. We also want to try to learn it.
However, the approach to language is also important. It will give
us different impressions about language. Just like the cake in the
video situation. When we see the cake, we are excited to eat it,
but when the teacher used his bare hands to grab the piece of
cake, which made me feel unhygienic. I didn't taste that piece of
cake anymore. But in the second situation, he used a knife to pick
up that same piece of cake on the dish in a polite way. This time,
I was happy to get and taste the piece of cake from him. So, we
can see that the approach to language is also important.

The metaphor has to do with teaching English. Each language

has its interesting things, learning methods and ways of
approaching the language, which is completely different from our
mother tongue. If we grasp students' desires and help students to
easily access the language , it will establish a foundation for
learning and exploring that language.

Therefore, I always try to find new learning methods so that I help

students easily acquisite and love the language. I had some
experiences of tutoring , but my knowledge is not enough. I want
to improve my knowledge and teaching skills as well as learn
more professional teaching methods to develop your teaching
career. That is the reason why I joined this course.
