1. Why are migrants mostly beneficial for receiving countries?
Answer: Migrants account for 47% of the increase in the workforce in the U.S. and
70% of it in Europe over the past ten years. Migrants fill important niches both in
fast-growing and declining sectors of the economy. They contribute more in taxes
and social contributions than they receive in benefits.

2. What are the benefits and detriments of economies dependent on migrant

remittances?
Answer: There are few advantages and disadvantages to economies that rely on
migrants. Remittances serve to improve the family's livelihood and living conditions
when migrants flow. Remittances can be used to provide proper healthcare and
other amenities such as education and cleanliness. They can also assist with asset
and business acquisition. While there are advantages, remittances also have
disadvantages, such as reducing labor supply in the case of migrants. When people
migrate, they consume more items and pay more money. Apart from that, one
significant disadvantage is that remittances boost the country's market competition.
As a result, there are a few advantages and disadvantages to remittances.

3. Why is migrant integration a challenging issue for states?

Answer: Migrants frequently face difficulties in assimilating into host communities,
resulting in issues such as communal integration, harmonious living, commerce,
cultural practices, religious beliefs, language barriers, agricultural practices,
economic activities, social integration, pastoralism, and others.

4. How do migrants prompt xenophobia and racism in receiving countries?

Answer: Integration is challenging for states since it reveals a truth that many

migration return and reintegration, many migrants will not - and frequently cannot -
do so.

countries?
Answer: most of the people are now migrating in some places with low risk of virus
