Activity: Questionnaire Key:

Materials: One handout for each pair of students, cut

Procedure: 1 tired
• Divide the class in half: Student As and Student Bs. 2 interesting
Give the appropriate half of the handout to each 3 embarrassed

• Tell the students to complete the adjectives in the
questions with -ing or -ed. Students with the same
questionnaire can work together, if necessary.
• Give a time limit, monitor carefully and then check
the answers as a class.
• Divide the class into pairs (Student A and Student B).
• Tell them to ask their partner their questions and
make a note of their partner’s answers.
• When they have finished, ask students to tell the class
the most interesting answer that their partner gave.
• Option: With a weaker group, give them 2–3 minutes
preparation time before asking them to speak to the
class.
