Sub – Regarding deplorable work culture at Chaibasa Head Post Office

I would like to bring to your kind notice that I Rajesh Kumar resident of Bara Nimdih, Chaibasa. I
am a regular customer at Chaibasa Post Office from past 20 years. I and all my family members have
different types of saving accounts in your esteemed institution. In last few years I have observed that
the work at the post office is becoming very slothful. The account opening are very slow, closure of
accounts takes 10-15 days and the employees are very careless about the problems faced by the
customers. There are few important issues that needs to be addressed at the minute-

1. There are employees who bias customers on the basis of casteism. The treatment of customers
is done on the base of caste. The similar group gets special preferences. Others have to wait in
long queues for their turn. Also the work of others takes more days as compared to them. This
behaviour is unacceptable and needs to be rectified.
2. The employees are without soft skills and not at all concerned for the customers. They are
always in their ego, greed and even do not listen after many requests.

In last 20 years i have seen many employees coming and going. But there are some employees
who are in this office since long. There are 5-6 employees who are there for 12 years. Every office has
rotational policy for employees to relieve monotony. The employees should not be kept at one place for
long. Why the officials at Chaibasa Post Office are not being transferred on time? Do they posses great
power or they bribe the higher authorities to skip transfer?

I hereby request you to please take urgent notice of this matter and resolve the issue for better
functioning of work at Office.
