STRUCTURAL AND
A structural drawing is a structural

describing how a building or structure
needs to be built. Structural drawings
OF PROJECT
are only legitimate if they are prepared,
stamped and signed by a licensed
professional engineer

An architectural drawing or architect's drawing

is a technical drawing of a building (or building
project) that falls within the definition of
architecture. Architectural drawings are used by
architects and others for a number of purposes:
to develop a design idea into a coherent proposal,
to communicate ideas and concepts, to convince
clients of the merits of a design, to assist a
building contractor to construct it based on
design intent, as a record of the design and
planned development, or to make a record of a
building that already exists.

A wraparound porch gives a sheltered entry and creates a cozy

place to spend summer evenings, with enough room on the side to
accommodate a porch swing. Off the foyer, a unique study opens
with two sets of French doors to the porch on one side and the
foyer on another. Two more sets of French doors lead from the
large family room to the rear lanai. The master suite offers dual
closets and sinks, a garden tub, a walk-in shower, and yes, more
French doors to the rear lanai. The plan has an option for a

be storage or a half bath with a slab or crawlspace foundation.

WORK BREAKDOWN STRUCTURE
A work breakdown structure (WBS)
visually organizes project deliverables
into different levels based on
dependencies. It’s essentially your project
plan in a visual form, with your project
objective at the top, then dependencies and
sub-dependencies below. In this article, we
describe the different parts of a work
breakdown structure and how to create
one for your next project—along with a
detailed example to get you started

PROJECT NETWORK DIAGRAM

A project network diagram is an interconnection of

activities that shows all project tasks, duration,
logical relations, and activityinterdependencies within
the project. Project network diagrams are also known
as project schedule network diagrams.A project
network diagram consists of blocks, circles, lines,
dotted lines, arrows, etc., and you can see relationships
among activities with a quick look. You can find the
sequence of activities and verify the scope of work. It
is also a good communication tool that helps you
communicate your progress and issues with project
stakeholders.

When a project manager has defined the scope
of the project (the work that needs to be
completed), understands quality requirements
and risks, and has estimates of activity
duration's in place, the next step is to put
