4th DAY: YOUR PERSONAL CHOICE OF THE BEST COMPUTER

As you already know, a personal computer and a laptop can be used for many different tasks, such as:

Surf the internet. Edit texts, tables, databases… Make online streams. Edit video or image.
Study. Store and watch series, films… Play online games. And many others…

Also, different uses require different types of devices and computer components. Look the following
examples:
- You may want a bigger screen if you like to watch films or draw.
- You may want a better RAM for playing online games or streaming.
- You may want a more poweful CPU if you are going to make make different tasks at the same time.
- Or you may want a cheaper computer if you only use it for writing texts and browsing the internet.

For the next activity, you must decide which is the best computer for you:

1. First step: choose the 3 tasks from the previous table that better fit your regular, everyday use. And
think about the features and characteristics that your new computer should have.
2. Second step: check the following computer adverts and identify, for all of them, its 5 main
characteristics: CPU / RAM / STORAGE / SCREEN SIZE / PRICE.
3. Third step: choose the model that will offer you a better performance, but still remaining affordable.
4. Forth step: to answer this activity, please create a document where you present your arguments to
explain your choice, and copy the image of the laptop that you have chosen in there. You can use
the next table as a guide.
