GOODWILL MESSAGE BY THE PRINCIPAL

Good morning honored guest, the director pastor Paul Amu, our irreplaceable parents, industrious
staff, studious students, ladies and gentlemen.

I am very please to welcome you to the 8 th annual graduation ceremony of Abuja International
Academy kubwa. I want to sincerely appreciate you for honoring our invitation despite your tight
schedule we’re indeed thankful.

The journey of a thousand miles they say begins with a step. What you see here today is the result
of years of hard work and we are glad that we are celebrating grace, consistency and potentials. It is
my pleasure to say few words of farewell and congratulation to our graduating students. I know we
have prepared you well for the future. As some of you are graduating to the primary section, some
to junior secondary and others to senior secondary, you have to learn to be dedicated to your
studies. ‘Education they say is the best policy’ a parent can give to a child because it is the
foundation to a better ‘you’ the child.

The school does not only build the child academically, but morally, socially and even spiritually.
Today means different thing to each of you, to some it is a welcome relief, to others it is an
accompanied feeling as we look back on the good times and friends we have made. Whatever
decision you take from now, always remember you can work grudgingly or gratefully. The
satisfaction you define from the life you choose depends on your attitude towards it.

My advice to you all is to take your Academics serious, I can see among you great potentials and
I’ll plead you dont trade it for any irresponsible act in these world. Desist from any act capable of
tarnishing your image such as thuggery, cultism, drug abuse and sexual immorality. Hard work,
perseverance and humility open good ways for a man and never lose hope. Life is a series of new
horizons, new hopes, new days and challenges as you enter the next phase of your life, please
consider these three things:
*make every moment count
*dream it – do it
*remember the right decisions you make in life may not always be the popular ones.
In AIA, you were all gifted with the privilege to learn and given an education that grooms its
students providing the space for exploration. So explore, be vulnerable and ask questions. There are
no limitations, so why keep restricting yourself. The world may play you hard, but be focused. On
your way up, you must meet the good and the ugly, saints and sinners, simple and traitors, doves
and wolves. Always have a direction in mind, not going left because your close friend is walking
towards that direction, have a mind of your own and do the right thing at the right time. I look
forward to seeing you all at the top and hope you make us proud some day.

GOD bless you all and may his light shine upon your paths as you journey to your future.
AIA capacity builders.
AIA radiating the light of excellence.
