peristiwa-peristiwa yang terjadi.
Ciri Kebahasaan Teks Recount:
* Menggunakan past tense.
Contoh: went, walked, etc
* Menggunakan time conjunctions
(Penghubung waktu).
Contoh: after that, then, before, after, etc.*

Picasso was one of the most outstanding
and important artist of the 1900’s. He was best
known for his paintings. Almost every style in
modern art was represented in Picasso’s works.
Picasso was born in 1881 in Malaga, Spain,
as the son of an art teacher. He studied painting
with his father and also in Madrid.
From 1895 to 1901, he painted realistic
works in a traditional style. Then he entered
what was called the Blue period. During this

to show poverty in Barcelona.

Helen Adams Keller was born as a healthy
baby at june 27th, 1880, to captain Arthur H. and
Kate Adams Keller of Tuscumbia. At the tender
age of 19 months, she was strickes with a
severe illnes wich left her blind and deaf.
At the age of six, the half-wild, deaf and blind
girl was taken to see Dr. Alexander Graham Bell by
her parents. From the visit, Helen met her
teacher, Anne Mansfield Sullivan. She was so
gifted that by the end of August, in six month she
knew 625 word, learned braille and learned write
shortly afterward.
By the age of 10, Helen had mastered
braille as well as the manual alphabet and even
learned to use typewriter. By the time she was
16, Helen could speak well enough to go to
preparatory school and to college. in 1904, she
graduated “cum laude“ from Radcliffe college.
The teacher stayed with her through those
years, interprenting lectures and class
discussion for her.
Helen Keller became one of world‘s most
remarkable women. She dedicated her life to
improve the conditions of the blind and the
deaf- blind around the world, lecturing in more
than 25 countries on the five major continens.
Wherever she appeared, she brought new
courage to millions of blind people.

parking area. He just went home. I was very
tired. There was no other choice, I had to walk
home again. When I arrived home, I was so
tired. I was very angry but when I saw my
friend’s broad smile greet me in front of the
door, I just could not help laughing.

In December 1984, there was an explosion
at the Union Carbide factory in Bhopal, India.
The disaster that followed the accident shocked
the whole world. It was the worst industrial
accident in the world.
Most of the 750,000 people living in
Bhopal were asleep when the accident occured.
Many of them never woke up. A thick cloud of
gas spread over the whole city. The chemical
gas effected the breathing of the people and
about 3500 people died, but more than 50,000
people were seriously injured. Many of them
suffered from injury to their eyes, some even
lost their eyesight. Most of the casualties were
children and elderly people.
For thousand of people in Bhopal, that night
was like any other night. But a little after
midnight, the poisonous gas slowly leaked into
the atmosphere. Hundreds of people woke up
from their sleep coughing and vomiting. Others
woke up with eyes watering and some
temporarily blinded. Many people tried to
escape the poisonous clouds by getting out of
town. They tried to get any kind of vehicle to
get out of the town to save their lives.
Hundreds of poor people tried to flee the town
on foot but many of them dropped on the way.
