2 Documentation Center
Documentation Center is an application that provides access to Nokia product overviews
and technical documentation.
To enter Documentation Center, log into Support Portal Services tab first.
Procedure
If you cannot access the webpage after logging in, contact your technical support
representative.

The Documentation Center appears.
5 To filter or sort the documents on the documentation webpage, choose an option for one
or more of the following:

The list of documents that meet your filtering and sorting criteria appears on the right.
You can choose additional options to reduce the number of results. Click RESTORE
DEFAULTS to remove the search filter.
6 Click Search.

RESTORE DEFAULTS to remove the search filter.

The Documentation Center appears.
To search for phrases, type the phrase within quotation marks; for example,
synchronous Ethernet.

The Search Results webpage appears.
6 To filter the results from Full Text searches, click OPEN REFINE SEARCH.
7 To filter the results, choose one of the following from the Sort By sidebar on the Search
Results webpage:
• Relevance
• Title
• Dates.

The PDF appears.
You can use Adobe Reader, Release 6.0 or later, to search multiple PDF files for a
term. Adobe Reader displays the results in a display panel. The results are grouped
by PDF file. You can expand the entry for each file.
g Note: The PDF files that you search must be in the same folder.
2 Choose Edit > Search from the Adobe Reader main menu.

If required, select:
• Whole words only
• Case-sensitive
• Include Bookmarks
• Include Comments.
7 Click Search.

Adobe Reader displays the search results. You can expand the entries for each file
by clicking on the + symbol.
Procedure
Use Adobe Reader proximity searches to reduce the number of results for a search.

4 Enter a number (for example, 25) in the Range of words for Proximity searches field.
7 Click the Use Advanced Search Options link at the bottom of the Search window.

The Advanced Search window opens.
9 Enter the terms for the proximity search in the What word or phrase would you like to
search for? field.
Do not use any text or punctuation (such as commas, quotation marks, and, or) to
separate search terms.
10 Choose Match All of the words from the Return results containing field.

The Proximity check box is now selectable.
12 Click Search.

If the number of search results is too high or low, repeat steps 2 to 5 to decrease or
increase the value in the Range of words for Proximity searches field.
3 Discovery Center
Discovery Center is a new and improved version of the Nokia customer documentation
repository. Discovery Center is designed to enhance user experience with seamless
browsing, improved search capabilities, and faster access to technical documentation for
MN and select NSW products. Discovery Center is optimized for optimal readability and
offers efficient document management capabilities to our users.
Find the Discovery Center User Guide in the Operating Documentation section of
Discovery Center Product Page. You need to log in first.
Procedure
3 Find 9500 Microwave Packet Radio (MPR) and click the blue arrow.

5 Rich media
Rich media enables user interaction with a given content. It simplifies and transforms
complex textual content, and presents it in an interactive and visually enhanced manner.
Rich media is created in HTML5. For displaying rich media content, use any of the
following browsers:
• Chrome (current)
• Firefox (current)
• Opera (current)
• Safari 5.1 +
• Internet Explorer 11+ or Edge
g Note: In case of using other browsers, the rich media object may not display or some
functions may not work properly.
