Good morning ladies and gentlemen. First of all, let me thank you for coming here today. Let me
introduce myself. I’m ……….. I study finance and accounting at the Faculty of Management. Now
I’m in my last year. I also work for Takeda company, in accounting and reporting team. I’m
responsible for doing different reports and controls, for example, control of expense accounts. I
would like to tell you about this company. My presentation will last about 10 minutes. If you have
any questions, feel free to interrupt me at any time.

I have divided my presentation into three main parts. Firstly, I will be looking at general
information, secondly at their mission and values, and thirdly, at Takeda’s products.

Let me start with my personal memories connected with my job interview in this company. The
recruiter asked whether I know any names of medicines produced by this company. It was a really
difficult question for me. I wasn’t able to mention any names. It was a terrible experience.
Therefore, now, of course, I know some names and I suspect that you also know them because they
are quite popular, for example: Amol, Sanostol and Febrisan..

I will start off by giving you general information. At Takeda, people work in a team to provide
better health and brighter futures for all. As a global pharmaceutical company, Takeda focuses on

Poland, Russia, China, Indonesia, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Columbia, Estonia, India.
Takeda Group consists of 151 companies, 135 consolidated subsidiaries and 15 affiliates.

Now I would like to tell you about Takeda in the world. The company operates almost in each
continent: in Europe, Northern and Southern America, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and
the Asia Pacific Region. The network of the Takeda group spans over 70 countries and regions
worldwide, products are marketed in around 100 countries worldwide.

Let's move on to the mission. The company’s mission is one simple statement: Better Health and
Brighter Future. It means that the main purpose of this company is to provide people an opportunity

to better life, more healthy life. Employees who work there, try to find new healthcare solutions,
they want to help other people and offer them effective medicines, which help people to recover.

Now I would like to tell you about the values. Takeda has an unchanging set of core values that

Now let me talk you through Takeda’s range of products. Takeda has a diverse portfolio containing
over 100 innovative products. As you can see company’s products are centered around six core
therapeutic areas: Cardiovascular and Metabolic, Oncology, Central Nervous System,
Immunology, General Medicine and Vaccines

I would also like to draw your attention to the fact that Takeda SCE Sp. z o.o. is located in Łódź. It
is a financial service center and it was opened in 2011. The company is focused here on providing
the best-in-class accounting services for Takeda entities from all over Europe, Canada, the United
Arab Emirates, Egypt and South Africa.
