The Resource person Mr. Sushil Hasa is Assistant Professor of Mathematics of

the School of Science and IT, ARKA JAIN University, Jamshedpur.

He has completed his MSc. in mathematics from LPU Jalandhar Punjab. He has
9 years teaching experience in academia. Apart from he is actively involved in
teaching engineering students. Currently she is working as an assistant Professor
in ARKA JAIN University, Jamshedpur.

The Event was very valuable for B. Tech, BCA, MCA and Polytechnic students.
Importance of Math Olympiad Math Olympiad improves the mathematical
ability and competitive skills of students. It enables them to explore their
strengths and potential. Mathematics plays an indispensable part in the everyday
life of every human being. With the impact of technology in today’s world,
mathematics has played an insignificant role in shaping the society. From time
management to budgeting, mathematics is involved in all spheres of life. It is
known to inculcate critical thinking, reasoning and problem-solving ability in an
individual. It acts as an efficient and effective mechanism meant to make our
lives easier. Math Olympiad is one such platform which students can utilize to
their benefit in becoming proficient in the subject. It provides students with an
opportunity to master their concepts and comprehend tricky questions
effortlessly. This exam provides them with conceptual clarity and encourages
them to imbibe critical and analytical thinking..

About the Event Co-Ordinator: -

Mr. Sushil Hasa is Assistant Professor of Mathematics of the School of Science and

Venue and Participants:-

The Event was conducted by Online mode. Total participants registered

367from students of B.Tech. BCA,MCA, Pharma and Diploma. Total
numbers of attendees were 145 and 96 students secured 60% and more than 60%
marks.
