DAYS OF THE MONTH- MARCH 2024

 WORLD WILDLIFE DAY- World Wildlife Day is observed globally on

3rd March every year. This day celebrates the various forms of flora
and fauna in the world. It also raises awareness regarding the
endangerment of animals and promotes their conservation. The
theme for World Wildlife Day 2024 is “Connecting People and
Planet- Exploring Digital Innovation in Wildlife Conservation.”

 INTERNATIONAL DAY OF HAPPINESS- International Day of

Happiness has been celebrated annually on 20 th March since 2013.
The United Nations has celebrated this day to recognise the
importance of happiness in the lives of people around the world.
The theme of International Day of Happiness 2024 is “Happiness
Together”, which promotes the idea that lasting happiness comes
from feeling connected to others and being a part of something
bigger.

 HOLI- Holi is one of the most celebrated Hindu holidays and an old
Hindu custom. This day marks the triumph of good over evil and to
celebrate this day, people dance together and throw coloured
dyes on each other after which, they all enjoy traditional delicacies
together. Holi is celebrated annually in February or March,
according to its correspondence with the Hindu Calendar. This
year, it will be celebrated on 25th March.
