ELEMENTS
To obtain information on how to get to a place, you can use a map since the plans
represent places and buildings with lines; With them it is possible to know some precise
details, such as the layout of the streets, the location of parks, roads or railway tracks.
The plans
The plans are the representation of a city seen from above, as if you were flying over it.
From that perspective you can see the layout of the streets and blocks, as well as some
places of interest, monuments, buildings of artistic value and museums.
The plans offer a detailed description of the elements that make them up, and also use
colors, symbols and drawings to distinguish them. The cardinal points (North, South,
East and West) are indicated on the map and guide the direction in which we must move.
In addition, they use specific symbols to indicate the location of places of public
interest.
To facilitate location, the plans generally have a reference grid drawn. The horizontal
and vertical lines combine numbers and letters that are noted in the margins of the plan.
ELEMENTS CONTAINED IN A PLANE
TITLE: Indicates the type of plan you have and sometimes offers additional information
COORDINATES: They are the set of lines (grid) in which they are used
alphanumeric references that allow the location of a point on the plane.
SCALE: It is the relationship between the real measurements of a place and its
cartographic representation on the plane
