It is important that we know what drugs are, so that we are
aware of the substances that can harm us and the danger to which we are exposed when consuming them.
What is the drug?
It is a natural substance, of plant or animal origin, or
synthetic, that is used in chemistry or dry cleaning, or in pharmacy and medicine.
This substance is used with the intention of acting on the
nervous system in order to enhance physical or intellectual development, alter mood or experience new sensations, and whose repeated consumption can create dependence or may have unwanted side effects.
Most of us young people are exposed to this substance,
without knowing that it can harm our bodies and damage our physical and mental health, leading us to have very serious consequences, to the point of having an overdose, which could kill us.
What consequences does the drug bring? Some of the
consequences that these substances bring are: affecting the brain and behavior of a person, causing the inability to control the consumption of legal or illegal medications or drugs, etc.
Through this information I urge young people not to try drugs,
because once they do, it is difficult to get out of them. We as young people must seek information and if we find ourselves in a situation, ask for help and try to stay informed of anything that could cause us harm.
