 Red Cell Indices:

 These are parameters that provide information about the size and hemoglobin content of
red blood cells.
 Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV): Average volume or size of red blood cells. Normal
range is around 80 to 100 femtoliters (fL).
 Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin (MCH): Average amount of hemoglobin per red blood
cell. Normal range is about 27 to 33 picograms (pg).
 Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concentration (MCHC): Average concentration of
hemoglobin in red blood cells. Normal range is approximately 32% to 36%.
