National Beekeeping and Honey


Mission (NBHM)
launched in 2019 by the Indian government
to promote scientific beekeeping and achieve a "Sweet
Revolution."
Beneficiaries:
Individual beekeepers
Groups such as SHGs, JLGs, FPOs
Co-operatives
Governmental organizations (NBB, ICAR)
Scope
Capacity building and training, especially for women
Input support for promotion and production
Integrated Beekeeping Development Centres (IBDCs) and
other infrastructure
Digitization and online registration
Processing, value addition, and marketing support
Research and development
Implemented via National Bee Board
Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India
setup under a Central Sector Scheme titled 'Development of
Beekeeping for Improving Crop Productivity'
Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai
Yojana

launched in 2015
to provide irrigation solutions and improve water use
efficiency in agriculture
Assistance provided under this scheme
Micro Irrigation: - Financial assistance for drip and
sprinkler irrigation system
Water Harvesting and Storage: - Assistance for water
carrying pipes, plastic/RCC water harvesting structures,
farm ponds, and water storage in farm ponds/dug wells
Water Lifting Devices: - Assistance for pump-sets,
borewells, and dug wells
Support for mobile rain guns, shallow tube wells, lining of
tanks, and pipe/pre-cast distribution systems

National Scheme of Welfare of
Fishermen

Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY)


financial assistance to fishers for various initiatives,
including house construction assistance
nutritional support during fishing bans, insurance coverage
against accidents and disabilities, and hospitalization
expenses.
Eligibility criteria:
membership in a registered fishers organization
BPL status
age between 18 and 60
Implementation of the scheme is handled by respective States
and Union Territories
Krishi UDAN scheme

launched in August 2020


to improve value realization for farmers by providing cost-
effective air transportation and logistics for agricultural
produce.
Highlights:
Full waiver of landing and parking charges at selected
airports
Encourages development of cargo infrastructure including
a hub and spoke model
Develops E-KUSHAL platform for information sharing and
coordination, with later integration with e-NAM
Initially focuses on 25 airports in Northeast, hilly, and tribal
regions
A total of 53 airports were selected for Phase 1
Focus Routes:
Amritsar - Dubai (Babycorn)
Darbhanga - Rest of India (Litchis)
Sikkim - Rest of India (Organic produce)
Agartala - Delhi & Dubai (Pineapple)
Dibrugarh - Delhi & Dubai (Mandarin & Oranges)
