VISION
O
The daily actions of the police are carried out mainly in their relationship
with citizens and the image that citizens form of the Police and the
Government whose authority they represent depends largely on this
action.
O In fact, along with the Military, National Guard and Police, they
are the only officials who use uniforms that distinguish them
and thus visibly represent the face of the Mexican State for
citizens.

POLICE ETHICS
The different dimensions of the person are related to each other. For
example, you may feel that your family is a fundamental support for pursuing
your police career, as they encourage you and give you the strength to
continue in your work. But at the same time, you work for them and their
happiness gives meaning to your daily work. If you strive to be a model
police officer, you develop a successful career but at the same time you grow
in your moral dimension and become an example of honesty,
integrity and hard work for your children, colleagues, friends and
neighbors.

GOOD PRACTICES IN THE DELA RELATIONSHIP
POLICE WITH CITIZENS
By hook or by crook! (ACTIVITY)
You and your partner investigate a report of the sale of stolen merchandise at a flea market and go to
the place in question to carry out a visual inspection. As soon as they arrive, they notice that they hear
some whistles and that several people are moving quickly from one place to another, in such a way
that a building that looks like a warehouse catches their attention.
When you knock on the door of the building, a “manager” appears and, when asked about the use of
the warehouse, he answers that merchandise is stored there for distribution. You continue the
investigation and the manager tells you that he does not know where the items come from, but that
you should stop bothering him with so many questions, since he has many other things to do.
Firmly and confidently, you ask for the papers that support the legitimacy of the stored merchandise,
but the manager says he does not have access to them. Finally, they ask him to speak to the owner of
the business, but the manager responds that he does not know him and, suddenly, he violently closes
the cellar door.
