HOW TO OPEN MIDI FILE IN A NOTATION FORMAT

QUICK STEPS:

1. Download and Install Free Notation Player - http://clc.to/hRdi2Q


2. Use Free Notation Player to load MIDI file you received in e-mail.
(You can easily stop, start, rewind and fast forward the song using buttons in navigation bar).
3. Click “View” → “Page View” to change layout.
4. Click “File” and then select “Print” in order to print a file.**

• Open your browser and download Free Notation Player:

• Open the location on your computer where you downloaded the file and double-click it. Click “Next”.

• Read and accept the terms in license agreement and click “Next”

• Select installation location and click “Next”


• You can associate .mid and .kar files with the Notation Player. This step is optional. Make your
selection and click Next.

• Check the box if you want the shortcut to the player to be placed on your desktop and click “Next”

• Review summary and click “Next”

• Click “Finish” to complete the installation.


• The installation may prompt for a restart. You can skip the restart, and the Player should be
operational. If, for any reason the Player can’t open the file, it is advisable to restart the system.
DETAILED USAGE INSTRUCTIONS WITH SCREENSHOTS:

• Double click on the Notation Player icon on your desktop, the Player will open.

• Click “File” at the top menu, and then “Open”

• Navigate to a place where you saved MID file that you received via e-mail.
• The file will open. Click “Play” button to play. The playback will start and currently playing notes will be
highlighted in bright pink.

• You can easily stop, start, rewind and fast forward the song.
• Click “View” and select “Page View” to change the layout.

• Click “File” and then select “Print” in order to print a file.**
