HOW TO USE THIS DECK

These tarot cards can be printed for your personal use. This document may not be altered,
shared, or used for any commercial purpose whatsoever.

The tarot cards in the Learn Tarot With Me Tarot Deck are modeled off the original tarot cards
created in 1909 by Arthur Edward Waite and illustrated by Pamela Colman-Smith. (This is
commonly called the Rider-Waite deck, also sometimes called the Rider-Waite-Smith deck).

To Use as a Tarot Deck

Print one copy, single sided, onto the heaviest cardstock that your printer can handle. If you
would like to strengthen the cards, attach adhesive contact paper to the back before cutting.

Using scissors, an Exacto, or a paper cutter, cut along the outer edge of the cards. The corners
can be cut by scissors, or by using a corner-rounding punch.

Once printed, the front of the cards can be colored using markers or colored pencils. You can
also laminate the cards, to help them last longer.

If you are just beginning to learn how to read tarot cards, I suggest printing one copy for your
“main deck” and one copy for your “learning deck.” You can write the meanings and notes
directly on the front of each card of your “learning deck,” and color them to help you remember
certain symbols. Then, when you get stuck on the meaning of a certain cards, you’ll have a deck
that can help you out.
