How to replace AUTO PWB (PR-6000 series) CONTROL DIVISION I

Marine service engineering section.
Aug-2012

* AUTO pwb (AUTO2 pwb/AUTO1 pwb) has several types of hardwares and softwares.
In some case, it requires to change the setting of Jumper(JP), Dip Switch(SW) and
Internal Data. Therefore please refer to this document when you replace AUTO PWB.

1) AUTO PWB has 3 types of LED driver hardware's pwb, and they need to use ther appropriate software.
It the 3 different pwbs can be identified by revision number as below table.

2) Also, the software has 2 types that Ver. 4.XX series and Ver. 5.XX series.
And these 2 types of software are incompatible.
a) Ver. 5.XX series is for type which Auto pilot connects with EC-8x00(NCT TCS) or FURUNO's ECDIS.
b) Ver. 4.XX series is for except above a).

!!! The Auto unit display becomes faulty indication when wrong software(ROM)
is installed to AUTO pwb. In most cases, it does not require to replace the
ROM which is installed on new AUTO pwb with other version.
If Ver.5.XX ROM was installed on original AUTO pwb, please install latest
Ver.5.XX ROM to new AUTO pwb. (Refer to below tables.)
