Catch-Up Fridays Narrative Report

Every Friday in Philippines schools has transformed into a day of immersive learning and
exploration. This initiative of DepEd dedicates half of the day to fostering a love for reading and
enriching students’ understanding literary works. With regard to this, the Marawi National High School
conducted one particular engaging activity that has captured the imagination of both students and
teachers, the “Door Exhibit of Different Literary Piece”. This transforms ordinary classroom doors into
vibrant portals to diverse literary worlds.

The creativity of the Senior High School students unleashed in these door exhibits is truly
remarkable. Doors are adorned with colorful illustrations, character portraits, and symbolic imagery
depicting scenes and themes from various literary genres. Each door becomes a unique invitation to
step into a different story catered by the selected SHS students to the Grade 7 students.
