Presentation

Crafts give shape, life, color and harmony to children's ministry, since the use of
different materials achieves the purpose for which we make them: *Reinforce the
spirituality of children.
*Shape your character
*To preach the gospel to non-Adventist children.
That is why we have prepared this material to support your creativity and develop that
talent that God has given you. HE calls, trains and prepares us to serve Him in
children's ministry in a successful way.
Prepare yourself and learn new craft techniques every day, place all your talents in the
hands of our God and you will see the fruits that your noble work will reap. CHEER UP!
May God bless the work of your hands!

ACCEPTING THE CALL

God chooses, calls, trains and prepares the people HE has in mind for his purposes. (1)
“EVERYONE WHO HAS ARTISTIC ABILITY SHOULD COME AND DO WHATEVER
JEHOVAH HAS ORDERED”….. EXODUS 35:10 Version God speaks today

JEHOVAH'S ARTISANS: BEZALEEL AND AHOLIAB

Exodus 31:1-11
1 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying:
2 Behold, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of
Judah;
3 and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and understanding, in
knowledge and in all art,
4 to invent designs, to work in gold, silver and bronze,
5 and in artifice of stones to set them, and in artifice of wood ; to work in all kinds of
work.
6 And behold, I have placed with him Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of
Dan; and I have put wisdom in the mind of every wise heart, so that they may do all
that I have commanded you;
7 the tabernacle of the congregation, the ark of the testimony, the mercy seat that is
on it, and all the utensils of the tabernacle,
8 the table and its utensils, the clean lampstand and all its utensils, the altar of
incense,
9 the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, the laver and its base,
10 the garments of service, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, the garments for
his sons to exercise the priesthood,
11 the anointing oil, and the sweet incense for the sanctuary; They will do according to
all that I have commanded you.

After giving instructions

Detailed instructions for the construction of the tabernacle and its furniture and
utensils, and for the preparation of the materials to be used, God appointed those who
should direct the work. Bezaleel would lead and Aholiab would be his assistant. Without
a doubt these men were chosen for their notable talent and previous experience. God
promised to add his special wisdom to this previous knowledge. Thus they were
enabled for their task, both naturally and supernaturally (PP 215; DTG 767; Matt. 13:
12). God gives gifts of wisdom, knowledge, and ability to do secular work as well as
spiritual gifts (1 Cor. 12: 8). The church has as much need of men of the type of
Bezaleel and Aholiab as it does of men such as Paul and Isaiah. God only calls "by
name" those from whom He asks for some special service (Exo. 3. 4; Isa. 45: 1-4).
The Holy Spirit would impart to Bezaleel "science", that is, reliable information;
"intelligence", that is, common sense to apply knowledge; and "wisdom", that is,
discernment, good judgment and discretion. He would also receive additional skill in
"all art," which included both skill and artistic gift in his capacity as chief craftsman.
Ark of the Covenant
made by Bezaleel

Not only would you have the gift of creating designs , but also the ability to bring
those designs to fruition. Although Moses had received specific instructions regarding
the construction of the sanctuary and its furnishings, nothing had been said about
many details, such as the shape of the cherubs, the designs of the weaving and
embroidery of the various textile materials, the shapes of the vessels, the capitals of
the columns or the fountain. Much was going to depend on the initiative, inventiveness,
taste and craftsmanship of those who were in charge of the work.
It is inferred from Chap. 38:23 that Oholiab was to direct the design and production of
the various textile materials, including weaving and embroidery.

Every artist, whether poet, painter, sculptor, musician or designer, must have within
him a natural talent without which he will never achieve excellence. Such gifts are to
be regarded as a sacred deposit received from God to be used for His glory and to
uplift humanity; not for self-exaltation. If this is not achieved, a person's great abilities
may do nothing but contribute to
moral depravity . Manual labor was sanctified by God for the construction of the
tabernacle. Our Lord dignified physical work by spending most of his earthly life in the
carpentry shop of Nazareth (Mar. 6: 3). Paul earned his living by working in tent
making (Acts. 18: 1-3). (Adventist Bible Commentary)

God tells us that also through crafts we can present Jesus, we will carry the
handmade message of salvation.
Let us open new fields of preaching, let us enter the mind and heart of the child and
at the same time we will mold a character for eternity.
Our God is interested in the salvation of all human beings, and boys and girls are no
exception.
The Lord Jesus Christ himself said:
“Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them, because theirs is the kingdom
of heaven,” and in that task we are all included.
Within the Children's Ministry of our Church, crafts play an extremely important role
since they will help the child grow spiritually and will also strengthen their psychomotor
abilities.
But, we cannot do just any type of crafts, these must be special, “with a purpose”, they
must include the following aspects:
Features of crafts
1. Be totally Christ-centered
2. Have a utility or applicability
3. Serve as support to reinforce stories and memory verses

Christ Centered Crafts

Since our boys and girls are currently being bombarded with so many
destructive things, spread mainly in the media, as well as
with electronic games, we have a great challenge of ensuring that they receive the
best
possible way the gospel, and that it becomes loved by them.
The enemy has tried to remove Christ from the lives of our children, but we must
counteract such plans, we must do everything possible, so that children go to Jesus,
and through crafts, making them the central theme:
*God's love
*The values
*Bible Stories, etc.
We can introduce them to Christ in their tender lives, which is why we say that crafts
must be totally Christ-centered.

Just as David said to Goliath:

“You come to me with sword and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord.”
We say to the enemy:
You come to me with the Internet, television, x-box, with the highest technology, but I
come to you with: paint, foam, plasticine, scissors, paper...and in the name of Jehovah
you will not take our children.

Usefulness of crafts

Crafts can serve as:

*Decorative objects.
*Household items, example: towel holders, key holders, toiletries, etc.
preferably that they have a use and also that they include phrases or verses that
disclose our beliefs.
Support for spiritual growth
Crafts are widely used by teachers in children's divisions to decorate the classroom,
however, there are times when certain techniques and materials are ignored that can
help us give it a different finish and draw the attention of the children.

The decoration must be well done, with details, color and shape, whatever is done to
bring the child to God, it must be done as best as possible, sometimes we think that
the decoration of a living room is not valued but it is not like that, something What still
attracts children's attention is the decoration of the place where the class is taught; If
you feel comfortable there, in a pleasant environment, with visual reinforcers, you will
surely stay and have a better disposition to learn everything that is taught in the
children's divisions.
THE EDUCATIONAL VALUE OF CRAFTS
CHILD DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH CRAFTS (2)
Education has considered intellectual development as one of its primary objectives. In
recent times it has been concluded that there are other fields of development that are
equally important. Children need to develop in different areas: creative, social,
physical, emotional or affective and aesthetic.
Each of these areas of development should be included in craft programs, and they
should be planned to meet the needs of children. The development of creativity can
be seen in the originality of the ideas. Social development - can be seen in the child's
aptitude and progressive training to work cooperatively with his or her group in
increasing social responsibility and appreciation of the needs and feelings of others.
Physical development - is very easy to observe through the progress made in motor
control and the child's ability to coordinate mind, sight and hand.
Emotional development is recognized in the child's ability to identify with his or her
own self, that is, the ability to express feelings or personal experiences without
depending on stereotypes or clichés.
Aesthetic development is evidenced in a growing sensitivity to the organization of
ideas and feelings through materials, shape, color, and texture. When aesthetic
development does not occur, the child is unable to integrate his or her thoughts,
feelings, and perceptions into a harmonious organization.
The more aware the teacher is of the importance of these various facets of
development, the more able he will be to design a crafts program that has value and in
which manual work constitutes a means of education and not an end in itself. Art can
be in all phases of human life, making it richer and more beautiful.
Expert opinion:
Artistic activities (drawing, painting, crafts, etc.) help human beings express feelings
and emotions if human beings dedicated more time to these artistic expressions we
would have fewer social problems... Gerardo Carrillo director of the OllinYoliztli cultural
center.
DECORATING AND GIVING LIFE WITH CRAFTS
The decoration of children's spaces should be directed towards children. A little
imagination can go a long way. Try to think at the children's level and make it
interesting for them.
Mural made with foami, shiny and colorful “welcome” signs. Walls painted with biblical
characters and attractive colors.
Attractive attendance charts made with the modern scrapbooking technique.
Old sheets can be transformed into flags for the cause of Christ and other creative wall
and ceiling decorations.
Decorate the edge of your blackboard or flannel board with an interesting monthly
theme, decorations can easily be made from cardstock and other materials, giant arks,
the armor of God, Bible heroes and more can surround your blackboard or flannel
board.
Do you have an old chest?
Turn it into a treasure chest and fill it with Bibles because where your treasure is, there
is your heart. Children who forget their Bible or don't have one can grab one from the
treasure chest. Remember the first impression is the most important, give it meaning,
make it fun! Without losing sight of the objective.
The decoration of a children's space is a challenge whose conception must take into
account both the functionality and the physical and emotional needs of the children,
since it is important that they feel a space as a safe and quiet place that favors their
mobility and allows its development.
To achieve such a special atmosphere, a series of aspects must be considered that are
not always perceptible to the naked eye:
1 .- the forms
2 .-the lighting
3 .-the location of the different furniture.
4 .-the configuration of space.
They are factors that favor your well-being and harmony in addition to colors, materials
and textures.
The most notable peculiarity of this environment is that it is a dynamic space since we
constantly have to change the theme of the room for the children's lessons, we must
prefer transformable and easy-to-make crafts, especially economical, for its decoration.
DECORATION OF THE ROOM ASSIGNED TO THE DIRECTOR OF MINISTRY
CHILDISH
It is important that the space assigned to the children's ministry director of each
church is attractive, organized and harmonizes with the children, taking into account
that it must be a large room since that is where all the materials assigned for each will
be kept. division and there is entry and exit of teachers and children who go for these
materials.
It is recommended to place the logos that distinguish the children's ministry:

The logos can be captured on the wall since they would not change compared to the
children's lesson drawings.

At the end you will find painting and craft techniques.

REINFORCING STORIES AND LEARNING VERSES

CHILDREN'S SABBATH SCHOOL (3)

The supreme objective of the Sabbath school should be to win souls.
The order of service may be perfect, the team may be everything that could be
desired, but if children and youth are not attracted to Christ, the school is a failure.
(CSES p. 61)
As you seek to make clear to them the truths of salvation, and lead them to Christ as
their personal savior, the angels will be on their side. (DTG Page 461)
There has been very little attention to children and young people, and they have not
developed as they should in the Christian life because the members of the church have
not considered them with tenderness and sympathy, wishing that they could advance
in the divine life (review and herald13/ 02/1913)
The Lord is not glorified when children are neglected or overlooked…..They need more
than casual attention, more than a word of encouragement. It is necessary to work for
them with effort and care and with prayer. (advice on Sabbath school work.page 85)

CRAFTS TO REINFORCE BIBLE STORIES AND LEARN

VERSES
There is no doubt about the enormous benefits that it brings when introducing children
from a young age to the world of crafts, according to numerous studies, some of them
are: *the predisposition to learning increases.

*improves attention span

*the auditory system is strengthened
*short and long term memory capacity increases.
*improves the ability to socialize and your sense of commitment
*is predisposed to work with greater discipline and tolerance

It is scientifically proven that the success of an adult depends greatly on the emotional
intelligence acquired as children. With programs like those offered by the IASD
Children's Ministry every Saturday, the child will reinforce what they have learned.

CRAFTS AS A TOOL OF EVANGELIZATION

Arts and crafts are an effective means of preaching the gospel, as they can reach
where other ministries are not accepted. A painting, a sculpture or a manual work
with an encouraging message of hope or trust in God, in the same way as a powerful
sermon, prepares the soul for the holy spirit to transform it.
The crafts within the missionary programs of the children's ministry are excellent and
very useful to reinforce the biblical stories and verses, being at the same time a tool of
evangelization, if the crafts carry biblical messages and also have a usefulness, we will
fulfill two objectives:
1 .- reinforce biblical stories and verses leaving a powerful message in the child's mind.
2 .-we will bring the message of the gospel to homes through the child who makes the
craft.

MISSIONARY PROGRAMS OF THE CHILDREN'S MINISTRY WHERE THEY ARE

USED
THE HANDCRAFTS. (4)
It is essential that we plan effective programs for children, however, we need to
remember that programs are tools to build the body of Christ. We must never lose
sight of the Mission of children's ministry: to bring children into a relationship of love
and service with Jesus. Every program we offer needs to guide children along the path
of faith.
Don't over plan! Start slowly and meaningfully, rather than starting with mediocre
things. It is best to strengthen existing programs and add new ones as needed, taking
into account the availability of funds and voluntary aid.
We don't necessarily have to have all the programs that other churches have. Choose
only those programs that you can supply, remembering that the more programs your
church's Children's Ministry provides, the more families it can attract, and the
congregation will grow. We will examine some programs that reach children and
include crafts:

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL:

Purpose: Reach the children of the community and guide them to Jesus.

Description: Vacation Bible School is the most popular of all community outreach
programs. It generally takes place during vacation time, lasting five to ten days. It can
start in the morning, from 9-12 or at any other time that suits the needs of the
community. The program involves a general session, Bible stories, crafts and games.

Unique Features: Church children receive the opportunity to meet community children
and learn how to be friendly to visitors.
It is very important to take into account that the VBS crafts are in accordance with the
biblical story or with the memory verse. This recommendation is often lost sight of and
it has been seen that in some churches the crafts must be in accordance. to the subject
regardless of the materials to be used.
EXAMPLES OF CRAFTS THAT WERE USED IN DIFFERENT
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOLS AND THAT DID NOT AGREE TO THE
ISSUE.
(With permission from the creators of these crafts)

VBS: God's Zoo

Craft: wooden note holder for the kitchen
Observation: this craft was created
thinking only of the title,
and not in the story or in the memory verse.
VBS: The wonderful treasures of God
Craft: wooden chicken to hang the
kitchen cloths.
Observation: another craft that was chosen
thinking about functionality for the home, but not
in the story nor in the verse

VBS: celebrating with Jesus

Craft: bathroom towel holder made with foam
Observations: Likewise, the important points were not taken into account.
From the biblical story nor the verse

It is important to take into account the following recommendations when choosing

crafts for vacation Bible school: *crafts according to the age of the children.
* that harmonizes with the biblical story.
* that have the memory verse captured.
* that are simple and economical materials.
* that the children manage to finish the craft and not the teachers, or failing that, that
the children do 80% of it, so that the teacher only gives the last finishes.

EXAMPLES OF CRAFTS THAT WERE ACCORDING TO THE VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

THEME.

VBS: God's Zoo

Craft: foam note holder with clips to place messages
Observations: In this craft the objective was met,
the primary and minor ones made them
VBS: celebrating with Jesus
Craft: sign for the child's room.
Observations: this craft has only a decorative use,
However, by having the verse captured, the objective is achieved that
the message stays with the child; he does and observes

EBV: Weapons of my favorite heroes

Craft: wooden key holder with handmade plaster figure
Observation: the objective is met, it is useful and carries a message

COMMUNITY FRIENDS CLUB (5)

Purpose: to follow up on vacation Bible school.

Description: This is a once-a-week, 1-2 hour program featuring Bible stories, songs,
crafts, and games that can be done in a home, garage, or yard. A church family can
offer to run the club and invite children who have attended the VBS as well as those
who did not attend. Unique Features: It is a wonderful family outreach project, for
children who have attended vacation war school invite them to the chosen home to
attend the club and encourage them to invite their little friends from the community to
join.
Objectives of the community friends club:
1 .-reach out to non-Adventist children to share the gospel of salvation with them. 2.-
penetrate into areas where there is no Adventist presence.
3 .-provide continuity to the vacation Bible school or any other missionary program of
the church with emphasis on children.
In this program we have enough time to prepare the crafts that we are going to use,
since it is only carried out once a week. Within the community friends club program,
some topics are suggested from different areas (spiritual, social, cultural) that could
very well be developed in crafts, examples:

Topic: Healthy foods

Craft: wooden cutlery holder with cold porcelain

In the space in front (on the wood) you can capture an allusive thought
to healthy eating
Another option would be a paper mache fruit bowl. This is a very fun craft for children
and at the same time economical since it only uses: newspaper, white glue and paint.
Theme: favorite animals

Craft: mural made with pellon and watercolors

Topic: Prayer
Craft: fabric box

To learn more about the topics developed during the community friends club program
Consult the manual, which can be purchased at the corresponding union/association
offices.

Crafts weekend
Purpose: involve children in enjoyable activities, learning and doing a variety of crafts .
Description: children from the community are invited to participate in an activity full of
joy and creativity, making crafts. This program can be carried out on Sunday mornings
from 9-12, or at a time that is most convenient for parents. Knowing children and their
parents is essential to building new relationships.
Unique Features: Children are given the opportunity to learn new crafts and make new
friends. It's another opportunity to meet parents in the community.
The crafts sector grows every day, and people are interested in this market either to
start their business or for entertainment, that is why the business world has created
craft fairs at a national and international level for children and adults. . These fairs aim
to teach an option for children to feed their emotional intelligence through manual
work.
In this program we can make an exhibition inviting all those members of the church
who master crafts and who would like to participate in this fair to exhibit their work and
teach the children how to make them, something striking can be achieved in terms of
decoration of the fair and if desired, vegetarian cooking courses can be added for
parents who attend.

Recommendations for the crafts weekend program:

1 .- Prepare a sample of Christocentric crafts.
2 .-package all the materials that will be made for each craft, that have kits for
children.
3 .-decorate the place where the crafts fair will be held as striking and beautiful as
possible.
4 .-offer food and invite children who attended Vacation Bible School and the
community friends club.
5 .-take advantage of this craft fair to showcase other courses offered by the church.

a.-) take courses in different crafts.
b.-) is up to date with trends and craft tools.

OBJECTIVES THAT THE TEACHER SHOULD TAKE INTO ACCOUNT (A)

CRAFTS WHEN WORKING FOR CHILDREN

1 .-Guide children to Jesus through crafts.

2 .-Make Jesus the central theme of each craft program.
3 .-Make the craft programs as interesting as possible that no child wants to miss.
4 .-Exalt the Bible through simple works but with high spiritual power.
5 .- Speak and give instructions to children at their level of understanding.
6 .-Organize and plan your class and materials in advance.
7 .- Use all your senses: sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch.
8 .- Not waste time.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1 .- Learn about the characteristics of children's physical, emotional, social,
intellectual, and moral development, and investigate which crafts are suitable for each
age.
2 .- Assume responsibility for the place assigned: a.-)Maintenance and cleaning.
b.-)Organization of materials.
c.-)Take care of the borrowed materials such as: brushes, scissors, spatulas, molds,
etc.,.
3 .-Form your support team, while providing them with training on the crafts that the
children will create.
4 .-Maintain adequate discipline during the preparation of the crafts.
5 .- Attend training organized by the church or association.
6 .- Have meetings with your support staff to examine or make improvements, given
what you experienced on the first day of crafts classes.
7 .-Make plans together with your support team to avoid chaos during craft class.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SUPPORT STAFF OF THE CRAFTS TEACHER
1 .- they love working with children.
2 .- They have talents and skills suitable for that purpose.
3 .- are willing to take advantage of training opportunities to improve their
effectiveness as much as possible
4 .- have a good personal relationship with God
5 .- desire to be soul winners and are willing to do the personal work necessary to
lead children to Christ.
6 .- They are willing to use the necessary time, they know that leading a child to Jesus
requires that the person invest in concern and effort.
DURING CRAFTS CLASS
Take into account the following points to be able to teach your crafts class successfully.
• The voice.- To give instructions on how to do the craft, it is essential to have a strong
voice, which is imposed, it is not that you have to shout at the children, it is not that,
but that they pay attention to it since it has been proven that it influences use a lot of
voice when giving instructions, if you feel that your tone of voice is not correct you can
use sound equipment.

• Settlement of the children.- When entering the room, place them in a way that you
can observe them all and that they are not too close to each other, so that the teacher
can come and see how they are doing their craft.

• Avoiding chaos - most of the time, children, when taking the crafts class, become
somewhat restless, sometimes they want to take their materials first, they throw
themselves, they want to be in front where the teacher is and they block visibility. to
his companions behind. To avoid this, take the following tips into account:
a.-Before the children enter the room, have your materials ready on each bench, chair
or table where the children are going to work. If possible, put the child's name on the
bags where you are going to put the materials.
b.- place signs on the classroom wall with step-by-step instructions for the craft,
always have the sample of the finished craft, so that the children are motivated and
see that they pay attention and are correct in their form. After working on the craft, it
will look beautiful like the sample.
IF YOU HAVE EVERYTHING READY BEFORE THEY ENTER THE ROOM, IT WILL BE
EASIER TO CONTROL THE GROUP, SO WE AVOID THEM FROM MAKING A LINE TO TAKE
THEIR MATERIALS AND MAKING A MESS.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS (6)

Each craft project presented must be accompanied only by the instructions or

procedures necessary to ensure success to a certain extent even for the least gifted
child. It must always have “an open door” so that the child can discover things for
himself and have ample opportunities to develop his own technique and express
himself personally.
When a project is good, it immediately “takes root” and demands to be carried out in
its own way. If it does not “take root” perhaps it is better to abandon it, since the result
if it is forced will be artificial and alien to children.
Example: perhaps the child does not like the color to apply as a background on some
object, and wants to put another color on it, if the teacher has paints of other colors,
she can let the child paint it the color he likes, so he can see the result of your
elections.
Another example that we found is that of a child who wanted to give his cold porcelain
figure (which was a boy) another type of hair, instead of giving it curly hair like the
sample had, he decided to give it straight hair. , and his work was beautiful.

LET'S TRY TO AVOID THOSE ACTIVITIES THAT CAUSE CHAOS

1 .- NOT having appropriate places for your class, or not accommodating them
properly.
2 .- Do not allow them to take extra material, as long as they do not need it, such as:
paint, plaster, dough, clay, etc. Because they start playing with these materials and
they lose sight of making a CHRIST-CENTRIC craft.
3 .- Do not stay silent while they are working, try to ask them questions in relation to
the biblical story they saw that day, ask them the memory verse, make your class
dynamic, beautiful, attractive.
4 .- Generally there is never a lack of a restless child who finishes painting before
everyone, and is already asking: What's next, teacher? and begins to make others
uncomfortable,
Use these children for your own good, if they finish early, have them help you with
their other classmates, to be aware of what they need: if they run out of paint, if they
need water for their brushes, etc. By doing this the child will feel useful and increase
his self-esteem, as a consequence his character will change.

CRAFTS FOR EVERY LEVEL (7)

Garden.-from 4 to 6 years
Although muscles are not fully developed and children this age lack hand strength, they
are excited and not discouraged by a variety of craft materials.
There are several crafts that can be adapted for kindergarten children, here we suggest
some.
fingerprint painting
The fingerprint paints that exist on the market are non-toxic and can be applied safely
with your hands and are easy to remove.
It can be applied on: paper, wood, cardboard, plaster, fleece, etc.
Children will be able to develop their creative skills and fine psychomotor skills by
painting with their fingers.

Stencil painting
Useful stencils to work with garden stencils, there are different models and they are
only placed on the surface to be worked on and painted on and removed and the figure
of the stencil or template is printed. They can be used on wood, plaster, pelón, etc.

Artisanal plaster
This material can be worked very well with the help of plastic molds, the ones we
normally use to make chocolates.
Working with plaster with kindergarten children helps them a lot to develop their
creativity and imagination, they acquire greater concentration since they want to see
the final finish of their figure and they put all their effort to achieve it.

Cold porcelain (in Mexico it is known as crumb paste, French paste or flexible paste)
It is a dough, with a consistency similar to that of plasticine, with which you can work
exactly the same as with plasticine, it is durable, it does not need an oven, since the
final product is dried at room temperature. It is also much cleaner than clay and is
easily moldable. These qualities make it easy for children to work with, as it is simply a
replacement for plasticine with this new material.
It is recommended that the teacher bring the dough already made and use cookie
cutters that we get in stores that sell baking products. The cutters will help us give a
simple and fun class for children, and especially for those who do not have much
dexterity.

Primary.- from 7 to 9 years

Excellent age of maximum creativity, they have an intense interest in creative
activities, can use a variety of instruments and materials, following instructions and
carrying out projects without constant supervision. Some suggestive crafts are:

Wood painting
This material pleases the primary ones, look for Christian designs to capture on wood,
biblical stories or biblical characters, with the help of a carpenter you can design
beautiful wooden crafts such as: coat racks, lamps, boxes to store toys, spice racks,
etc.,

Foamy or eva rubber

This material is widely used by craft teachers, but care must be taken regarding the
finish, that is, cutting with scissors, the painting techniques that can be done on the
foam, etc. Fortunately, there are already cut foam pieces for sale that when joined
together form a figure. Use this already cut material to make beautiful crafts, or, if you
want an original model and also Christ in the center, you can cut them yourself and
give them to the children so that they can finish them either with inflatable paint,
acrylic paint, beads , glitter, etc.

Paper mache
Working in paper mache has a long tradition within the world of crafts and crafts in
general. We can make this class interesting by teaching the primary school students
that there are artisans who have dedicated their entire lives to creating work with this
material. You can take the children to visit an artisan who makes these works, or if you
prefer, you can show them a documentary about paper mache, choose striking and
motivating photos.
The materials we use are: newspaper, glue or a homemade paste that you know, and
cardboard.
Auxiliary tools: adhesive tape, brushes, wire, etc., depending on the work to be done.
When starting a paper mache class, choose easy and, above all, Christ-centric designs,
introduce them little by little to this noble material.
All the suggested garden crafts can also be done with the primary ones.

Minors - 10 to 12 years old

Manual work can be more detailed with them, and include programming and a little
more industriousness, keep in mind that at this age they are more restless and we
hardly manage to get their attention.
Suggestive crafts:

country wood
It is a craft that is in fashion, due to the various painting techniques that are used. This
is a craft that meets the requirements to keep minors focused. Choose Christian
drawings that you can capture on the wood and give the piece a use (coat racks, towel
holders, drawers, etc.)

Napkin technique
This technique allows us to decorate an object giving the impression that it has been
hand painted. Napkins of different designs are chosen, we perfectly cut out the motifs
or tear the napkins by hand. Many supports lend themselves to this very simple and
quick technique. Any smooth and rigid surface can be decorated (wood, cardboard,
stone, paper mache, candles, glass, metal...)
With this craft the child acquires dexterity, concentration and agility in the hands. All
the crafts mentioned in kindergarten and primary schools are also applicable in minors.
All the crafts mentioned in kindergarten and primary schools are also applicable in
minors.

PAINTING ON THE WALL
Objective : to capture logos or images related to this ministry on the walls of the room
assigned to the children's ministry director, using the appropriate brushes and paints
and also the finishing techniques.

Characteristics of the walls where you are going to paint:

1 .-that the wall is free of imperfections, for example: nails, holes, glue residue and old
paint.
2 .-preferably the finish is smooth (plaster or concrete) if it is a flattened tyrol (that is,
like a texturizing type or relief paste) it will cost more work and will take up much
more paint.
3 .-Before painting the wall, we put a base of white paint on it, since the nuances of
the colors will have a better quality in the finish. If the wall already has a light color,
there is no problem as long as the paint is clean and can be modified according to
need.
WAYS AND TIPS TO MAKE A DRAWING ON A WALL
There are several ways to make a drawing on a wall or a wall, it is recommended that
to draw the first lines , it is preferably done with a pencil or a crayon without
reloading it too much. It is understood that when wanting to draw any image, it must
be of a larger dimension than the reference, so for freehand skill, a recommended
For some this is very difficult.

But HE has th
technique is to photocopy the original drawing on an acetate. For this technique we will
need an acetate projector

The way to do this will be to project the image that was photocopied onto the wall and
lightly trace with a pencil or crayon the reflected lines that denote the drawing. When
turning off the projector, it is suggested not to move it because when it is turned off
we will observe our drawing and if in some parts it is incomplete we will be able to turn
it on again and finish tracing where it was not done. Once the drawing has been made
with simple lines, it will be necessary to highlight with a black marker with a thin or
thick tip if required. This is so that the drawing made can later be painted in a better
way without going beyond the established limits.
Finishing techniques:
To put shadows or lights on the figures, it is recommended that the base color always
be the one that predominates, and then paint the shadows with a similar but darker
color, and in the case of lights, a similar but lighter color, the shape To do so will be
starting from the part to be darkened or lightened using little paint on the brush or
brush, in order to reduce the tone as you move and finish the paint placed on the brush
or brush. When finishing painting any drawing, it is always necessary to highlight the
drawn figures again with black marker, this is because when we paint, we end up with
parts that outline the drawing with paint . (based on obrerofiel.com)
As seen in the figure, there are different widths and sizes of brushes. The narrower ones are
used where some parts of the drawing need to be painted in great detail. Example: sky, grass,
dresses)
For landscapes where the backgrounds require advancing more quickly, a medium brush is
sometimes used.
The artist acquires all this with practice and will use the techniques and forms that best suit
him to represent his drawing of excellent quality.

TYPES OF PAINT

The most suitable paint is acrylic or vinyl, this is because it is easy to dilute in water and
your application.

WORKING WITH THE PELLON

It is a material that was adopted a long time ago by all those who work in children's ministry.
For many years, this material has been an important part of Bible stories and classroom
decoration.

DIFFERENT WAYS TO WORK WITH PELLON

To transfer a drawing to the pellet you must follow the following steps:
1 .- choose the type of thickness of the skin
2 .- place it on the wall with nails in the corner, tape or if you prefer, there is a glue-type
spray on the market that you can spray on the pellón and it sticks to the wall and when you
finish passing your drawing it easily comes off the wall .
3 .-the drawing that is going to be captured on the film is transferred to a photocopy on
acetate to be used on the projector, in the event that it cannot be done freehand 4.-the
drawing is transferred to the film using the projector and We pass it with a pencil or crayon.
5.-we start painting
.
WAYS AND TECHNIQUES OF PAINTING AND FINISHING
1.-traditional
a.-Once we have finished the drawing, we begin to paint with each color that the image
has . This is called full, just “filling in” the drawing.
b.-Once all the parts have been finished and dried, outline the drawing with thick marker.
This is the simplest traditional way of working the pelón.
2.- shading technique on the skin a.- after applying the fillers and letting it dry. b.-use a
flat angular brush.

Using this technique we achieve two effects:

1 .- give the effect of shadow, without the color change being noticeable, which is why a
slightly lighter tone than the base tone is used, this gives more depth to the piece
2 .-It is to give light or shine to the drawing of hair using a lighter tone or white color 3.- with
the longest bristles, take a drop of paint and slide it along the contour to be shaded (the
longest angular part should point outward) rest gently and slide it to give a blurred effect. If
there is a lot of paint left, soak the tip of a cloth and wipe it like an eraser and restart the
process. You must practice a lot, since this technique is the most delicate. Shading is intended
to give more life to the piece, giving it depth, brightness and light. This technique is also
known as floating. (note: the painting techniques used on country wood can also be applied to
any surface.
Chapter 2.- Madera Country

Country art history

Country art, more than a technique, is a lifestyle that handles concepts about the natural, the
rural, the nostalgic, and that always refers to the spaces of the home. Its historical origin
dates back to the agricultural life of the United States and more specifically to the Amish, or
Mennonites, a social group that, due to its strong religious beliefs, has decided to preserve
the same lifestyle that its ancestors had, and not have contact with the rest of the world .
For them, there are no elements of modern life such as electric lights, telephones or
computers. The women of this community make their own dresses and those of their children
in the style of previous centuries, recycling the fabrics they have available, they also sew and
embroider household items. Men, for their part, work with wood to build their houses and
make the objects necessary to decorate them such as chairs, tables and shelves.
This lifestyle is what country art takes to apply to wood, paint, dolls, quilts and other
characteristic elements. One of the main features of this style is that everything is made by
hand, just like the Amish do. In the original concept, the colors used tend to be opaque and
are aged with many details such as small flowers, hearts, birds and all kinds of rural animals
(chickens, cows, horses, sheep and rabbits, among others).
Today, however, it has become popular to apply other ranges of colors, which match the needs
of the decoration, without losing the original essence.

In dollmaking, the clothing of the community on which it is based is well reflected: lots of
fabric, dresses with mid-calf length petticoats, aprons, coats and boot shoes. They are also
decorated with ribbons, buttons, lace and other simple accessories. Spaces that are decorated
with country art objects acquire a special warmth. Borders, trash cans, lamps, paintings and a
number of other objects can be made with the same design. It is simply knowing the basic
technique and letting your imagination fly. The important thing is to have a noble and RAR
romantic spirit and manifest it in each project.

Within country art we will find several materials with which we can work with
children and give them a Christian approach, and at the same time apply country
painting techniques, which will help them acquire manual dexterity and prepare the
little ones for good performance in his writing.
Next we will see the different materials with which we can work with this technique.

COUNTRY WOOD

General instructions

Organization of the painting area with work tools

Painting sessions will be easier if the work area is comfortable. First, the surface of the work
table is covered with plastic. Place the project or practice board in front of you and at chest
height.
If you are right-handed, place the godete on the right along with a cloth, on top of them place
the brush container and the glass with water. The
Left-handed people will place the previous utensils the opposite way so that the piece will
never be splashed with water or with any paint that the brush is loaded with.

Country wood paints

We will use water-based acrylic paints, they can be the ones we use to paint the walls, generally we will get them in
hardware stores in presentations of ¼ liter, ½ liter or 1 liter, they are not sold in smaller quantities, this presentation is
recommended for working with large groups of children, since it is more economical.
If we are going to work with fewer children and there is a budget, then the presentation of 2 ounces or more can be
purchased. Acrylic paints are very easy to clean with soap and water. There are a large number of brands and hundreds
of different colors.
The most used wood is pine, we find it in presentation of
30cm x 2.50 m planks with ½ or ¾ inch thickness. Depending on the size of the project, we can also use pine plywood in
a 1.20 x 2.44 format with 3, 6.9 and 12 mm thicknesses. The wood comes pre-sanded from the sawmill, but we need it to
have a completely smooth, soft surface without splinters. Another option to carry out our country wood work is MDF.
What is MDF?
It is a versatile material due to its nature based on wood fibers and is
considered an ecologically friendly product. (Medium DensityFiberboard -
MDF), a product that offers good working condition. MDF is manufactured dry,
made with lignocellulosic fibers, combined with resin, compacted by hot
pressing. Eucalyptus fibers and different percentages of polyurethane
adhesive of natural origin are used.
It is a homogeneous, uniform, stable product, with a flat and smooth surface,
which offers good machining work for fitting, carving, cutting, screwing, drilling
and molding. It even produces economy in terms of reducing the use of inks,
paints and lacquers, economy in adhesive consumption, and it is also more
economical than other woods.

Designs for country wood

It is very easy to do wood work thanks to the designs found in various magazines or clip art books. It is not necessary to
be an expert draftsman to be able to carry out any of the projects. If we want to do Christ-centric work we can take
drawings from children's lessons, or from their coloring books. Example:
Crib Lesson Drawings
How to transfer the design onto wood?
To trace the design, place albanene paper and draw the most important lines (these divide the different areas such as:
faces, hats, arms, legs, bodies, etc.
When it comes to small jobs, if we have blue or black tracing paper on hand, we can easily remove the excess carbon by
rubbing it with a napkin, this will prevent it from staining the wood. On this, hold the pattern with adhesive tape, sticking
towards the edges and perfectly matching the silhouette of the piece. Go over the design with a pencil, thin-tip stylus,
etc.

When making projects that exceed 30 cm in height or width, transfer the designs from the paper to the wood with a
pencil. Outline with the tip on the traced lines working from the wrong side, turn the paper over, secure with adhesive
tape on the edges coinciding with the silhouette of the piece, with the tip of a stylus go over the same lines so that the
charcoal from the pencil is impregnated on the wood. The pattern is transferred to the wood, starting with the main lines
(where there is a difference in colors) and the decorative details such as: stripes, dots, flowers, faces, etc. They are not
done in this step, they will be covered when the first layers of base paint are applied. Later when the base colors have
been applied and are dry, these details will be applied. Sometimes they are so simple that there is no need to trace
them. Cut out the traced design following the line of the edges, this will be our mold. Cut the board to the size of the
silhouette of the mold or buy it in stores specialized in country wood
In preliminary form we must do a first sanding with #150 sandpaper, with this we will sand on the edges, continue with
#100 sandpaper to polish and smooth the surface (front and back) the sanding process is always carried out following
the grain of the wood and clean the dust with a damp cloth.
When the wood has indentations "eyes" or imperfections we must fill with wood filler sold at any hardware store, this is a
paste that is applied with a spatula, let dry and then sand again.

inked
This is done with alcohol ink of any brand using a small brush. Choose a color that combines with the acrylic base paints
with which it will be painted later. It is not essential, but the application of the ink gives a better finish to the piece.
Preferably if you are going to work with children do not use it, only for personal use.

Brushes
The brushes must be of good quality and special for painting with acrylic paint, this does not mean that they are going to
be very expensive, there are good quality brushes on the market at very good prices,
especially if we buy in bulk the cost is further reduced. To keep them in good condition, we have to put them in water
after each application, we will load paint only on the tips and not up to the metal cover.

It is advisable to use liquid dish soap to wash your brushes. It must be cleaned or dried slowly on a clean cloth, taking
care not to damage the cut of the bristles. Place the brushes in a container with the bristles facing up.

Brush selection
They are used to fill small areas
and to give the following brush
strokes:

Load the round brush with acrylic paint, resting your arm on the table, hold the brush vertically, press the tip from the
outside inwards (direct the brush towards the chest) when you reach the tip of the comma stop pressing to lose weight .
Practice this brushstroke with more or less pressure, in fast or slow movements of the brush and you will easily observe
the effects.

HIHI
Flat brushes

They are used to give bases or fills, float color and make brush strokes. Both
the flat part and the edge can be painted. It is used to make stripes, details or give a color base to the piece.

Load the flat brush with acrylic paint, start the brush stroke with the edge of the bristles, touch the piece of
wood, lay the brush slowly to the left, exerting greater pressure to make the curve,
Reduce the pressure and slowly lift the brush to the right.
Liner brushes
This type of brush is very fine, with long bristles, and is used to detail pieces.
When loaded with acrylic paint, it has the property of retaining more paint than normal in the bristles and allows us to
make longer brush strokes.

To make brush strokes with liner brushes, it is necessary to dilute the acrylic
paint with water until the consistency of ink is obtained.
Detailing with thick paint is not possible. To work correctly, the tip of the brush must touch the piece of wood and the
handle must be pointing towards the ceiling (upright)
Angle brushes

These come with bristles in a vertical cut forming an angle, they are used exclusively to shade and delimit the areas of a
piece of wood.
They come in various sizes, the thickness of the lines depends on the width of the bristles. To perform this technique,
fresh acrylic paint is used, poured into a godet (container for pouring paint).
To begin, we must moisten the angular brush in a glass of water, remove excess moisture with a clean cloth, load the tip
of the brush with fresh acrylic paint (the color of the paint for shading should be darker and more contrasting than the
paint acrylic base). For example: If we have applied a sky blue color as a base, the shading will be done with navy blue,
royal blue or another more intense color.
Once the brush is loaded, it is moved, supporting the tip directed towards the edge of the piece of wood.
The brush stroke is made with short strokes, as the brush dries out, therefore it must be moistened again and loaded
with more paint.
The angular brush helps us achieve a gradient effect in the lines (the color will be more concentrated on the edge and
faint inwards)
General Tips and Techniques

Base or Plenary

Once the piece of wood has been sanded, apply the acrylic base paint directly, using a flat
brush.
Apply one or two coats of paint, covering the entire area following the grain of the wood.
Allow a drying point between the 2 applications.
The size of the brush depends on the area to be covered (in small areas use small flat
brushes)
For this technique, an angular brush is used and
fresh acrylic paint in shades more intense than the
base paint. Moisten the brush in water, remove excess
moisture with a clean cloth, load the paint on the most
protruding tip, place the tip in a diagonal position
directing the tip to the opposite side of our chest or
towards the outer edge of the area.
Move the brush slowly from left to right on the lines to
be shaded, when the paint on the brush runs out,
reload and start at the previous point.
In this way, a color gradient is produced, the tone is
more intense in the area where the tip moves and the
tone will be lower inwards thanks to the humidity of the
brush.

Border

The outlining will be done exclusively with a liner brush and acrylic paint
diluted with water (ink consistency).
Moisten the brush, remove excess moisture with a cloth, take the paint
with the tip, move slowly from left to right or from the outside towards the
chest, we must hold the brush in a vertical position.
The width or thickness of a line depends on the expression of the brush.

Details with points

For this technique we must place fresh paint in the dish (if you do not have the dish we can
also use disposable plates)
The dots are made with an embossing punch or with the handles of thin brushes (the diameter
of the dots depends on the thickness of the handles).
Every time we are going to make a point we must load the brush with more paint, the dot
details are made on the base acrylic paint.

To form hearts, make two very close points, with a punch, thin toothpick or liner brush, pull
the paint downwards forming the vertex of the heart. To make flowers, put a dot in the center
and place 5 smaller dots around it. Whenever points are made, try to space them at regular
distances, in a straight line and with a uniform diameter. Place the same amount of paint on
all points, otherwise the detail will look overloaded in some areas and very poor in others.
wash

This technique offers us a transparent effect on the piece of wood, we can clearly see the beta
through the paint. Work with a flat brush and acrylic paint lightened with water until you
obtain a semi-thick ink.
Load the brush with paint, move from left to right following the grain of the wood. Apply one
or two coats according to the desired transparency and allow to dry between the two
applications.

fluffed

Sponging is done with a piece of sponge and fresh acrylic paint.

Load the sponge with a minimum amount of paint, remove the excess with a cloth, apply to the board with
gentle taps to have a blurred effect.
This finish is used in certain areas such as: Cheeks, hair, grasses and designs on sheets, stencils

For this technique we will use an old toothbrush or special bristle brush and acrylic paint
diluted in water. Immerse the brush in water, remove excess moisture on a cloth, load the tips
with paint, direct the brush 10 cm away from the area to be splashed and run your thumb
over the bristles. If the dots are too large, the paint has too much water. If they are very
small, the consistency is very thick.
Fluffed with stencil

Stencils are thin plastic sheets with a wide variety of designs such as: flowers, stars, squares, circles, rhombuses,
hearts, popcorn, etc. In this technique, a piece of sponge and fresh acrylic paint or diluted with water is essential if we
want a gradient effect. Fold the sponge between your fingers, load with a little paint and apply with gentle taps on the
design.

Lift the
Stencil carefully so as not to stain neighboring areas, let the previous application dry before continuing with the next one.
To keep the stencils like new, we must wash with water and dish soap. Dry with a clean cloth.

Based on these painting techniques,

HE
can start creating, the most important thing is the
practice to be able to master these techniques
there is
that
practice them.

“PRACTICE MAKES
TEACHER"
We share this video where you can clearly see how the
wood and those outlined with an angular brush.
Note: we can adapt all these painting techniques to children with the
which ones we are going to work on, we can choose a simple drawing to capture it
in wood and it is not difficult for the child to paint it.

Suggestions for drawings to capture on wood depending on the age of the

children:

Garden figures: sun, moon, clouds, simple animals (without having

divide the drawings such as a bear, duck, chick, etc.) hearts,
signs, faces, stars, etc.

Figures for primary schools: complete ships, children, biblical characters,

Noah's arks, etc., can be more complete figures.

Figures for minors: landscapes, biblical characters, wooden pieces with

greater degree of laboriousness such as: coat racks, sewing boxes,
spice racks, etc.

CONCLUSIONS:

*These painting techniques can also be applied to foam work

resulting in “foamy country”
*Try that crafts made with country wood have their focus
biblical.
*IMPORTANT: PRACTICE TO MASTER THIS TECHNIQUE.
*Create your own style, and even your own drawings, develop creations
own and Christian.

SCRAPBOOKING: A MODERN TECHNIQUE
AND SENTIMENTAL

What is Scrapbooking?
The literal definition of Scrapbooking is Scrapbooking, it is a very widespread hobby in the United States
and Europe. The essence of this technique is to work with photos and always preserve those moments
that we create with our camera. It is the art of combining photos and memories in an album that tells a
story

“Scrapbooking” has become, in many countries around the world , a very popular pastime. There have
always been people who enjoy putting their family photographs in order, and who keep memories
between their pages, locks of hair, postcards. Scrapbooking is a way to take all those memories and
photographs, and put them together to tell the story.
On the pages of a scrapbook there are memories and illusions, images and artistic
expressions...thoughts, dreams and hopes. A scrapbook is like a time capsule for generations to come.

With the interest that has arisen recently in the hobby, the days when we put photos in a magnetic
album, or plain paper, are long gone. Today there are many products to choose from, in many different
styles, and new techniques to learn to create wonderful pages for our albums and paper creations.
With the Scrapbook you can work with different elements: Paper, buttons, threads, cardboard, etc.
BASIC STEPS
HOW TO START
Each page of our album is like telling a small story of our life; Thus, each one must transmit to us that
feeling that the moment provokes in us.
1 .- Start by choosing a group of photos related to a theme, for example, a birthday.
You can start with something recent, since your memory is fresher.
Decide what will be your focal point (the first thing your eyes focus on), which of them reflects the
feeling or atmosphere the most, this will be your star, the place where the observer will begin his visual
journey.
2 .- Now, decide which photos complement this idea; Choose the best ones, avoiding those that are out
of focus, dark, or similar.
3 .- Make brief notes first in draft, of the most relevant things about the event, comments and
anecdotes that are not evident in your photos or perhaps something funny about them. This will be
inserted into your page once you have decided on your layout.
4 .- Determine what the atmosphere will be: elegant, relaxed, fun, tender, etc. What colors complement
those in your photo. The variety of colors that exist is infinite, but they are all the result of combining
red, yellow and blue plus different amounts of black and white.

There are three different characteristics:

Hue - is the true color (tone)

Luminosity - is the tone of the color, the amount of white or black mixed with the hue.

Saturation - is the intensity of the color: the more saturated a color, the less black it has.

The colors can be:

Warm.- They range from red to yellow, including orange, pink and brown, they are bright, striking and
aggressive, it is the group of colors that most attracts attention and awakens emotions.

Cold.- From green to violet, including blue and all shades of gray. With these colors the opposite effect
to that of warm colors is achieved; At times they may seem gloomy but they also give a feeling of
cleanliness and calm.

Pastel tones. -They are the ones that are mixed with a lot of white. They are perfect for baby-related
topics.

Brown tones. -They are mixed with black. They are more relaxing and work well for nature themes and
more formal ceremonies.

Pure or primary colors - They are energetic and are related to a lot of activity, for example: a party.

Dark colors tend to fade into the background while light colors stand out.

When you can't decide on a color for your album page, you can take one that predominates in the
photograph and combine it in different ways.
Here are some examples to make it easier for you.

Various types of combinations can be made

Similar. -The next color on the color wheel.

Contrasting.- They are separated by three colors on the color wheel (triad).

Complementary. -They are on opposite sides.

Monochromatic. -They are variations on a single tone. For example: shades from pink to red.

Balance: Gives us a sense of balance, a way of being in harmony with the environment. This is
important to us, as a balanced design, where elements are distributed so that each side of the design
has equal visual weight, creates a sense of harmony. It is more pleasing to the eye.
There are several factors to consider, including the size and shape of the elements, the visual weight of
the elements in the photo, even the weight of the colors, textures and patterns on the page. A large
object, for example, weighs more than a small object. A pastel color weighs less than a brown color, just
as an element with texture weighs more than without it. You can try plain papers and prints that
coordinate or contrast, taking care that they do not compete with the photos. If you decide on a
patterned background, frame your photos with plain papers to give them a space that isolates them and
doesn't get lost in the background.

5 .- What shapes go best with your idea?

Curved lines express flowing movement.
Corner shapes suggest action, tension or surprise.
The horizontal ones reflect calm or static, the vertical ones denote order.
Taking this into account, you can use cutting templates for both photos and frames.
A great help that you can have are the decals of borders and figures with pre-cut frames that, in addition
to having a wide assortment of shapes and colors, have their complements in thematic figures for any
occasion. You can also form them using punches and punches, as well as fretwork scissors.

Remember that these elements are meant to enhance your photos and not neutralize them. Use these
elements to achieve a balance that will result in an organized and pleasing page.

6 .-When putting the texts and the title, you can use templates, stickers, set letters or Why not? Your
own handwriting, to give a more personal touch.
Trace with pencil on squares of paper or traces of your photos and, once satisfied with the results, go
over with markers.

7 .-It is very important that your materials, from the album, papers, stickers, stickers, markers, etc.
They are free of acid, lignin and PVC, since they are substances that will end up deteriorating and
damaging your photographs.
IDEAS: with this technique we can carry out work for each event of our church, such as:
*Adventist Children's Day
*Christening
*Thirteenth Saturday
*Presentation of a baby
*Missionary work events: Vacation Bible School, community friends club, small groups, etc.
*we can make a mini album with the children from the different divisions of their memory verses,
accompanied by images of their lesson or photos of the children in the classroom
NOTE. With this technique we will not only be able to make albums, but other very interesting, creative
and striking works that can be used for all the ministries of the church and to preach the gospel.

PROCEDURE
1 .- Fill a container with water and let a sheet of newspaper soak for three
minutes

2 .- Remove it carefully and spread it on a table protected with oilcloth or newspaper.

3.- With a brush, apply a coat of white school glue (vinyl glue)

4.- With your hands, tear the strips, in the direction of reading, of the width that interests
you.
5 .- When lining the mold, you must press the strips with your fingers or a brush, making sure that they do
not form
bubbles.

6 .- In the first layer, you must put the white school glue (vinyl glue) on the top part of the paper
and for the rest of the layers in the lower one.

7 .- Between layer and layer you must apply a coat of glue, the same as at the end.
8 .- It is better to use two colors of newspaper and change them in each layer, so you will know where you
have already placed
a layer and where not yet.

9 .- It is advisable to put a minimum of four layers. They take approximately a few days to dry. HE

This craft can be useful when we teach the topic of stewardship to children .

PAPER PULP
In some regions of the United States, paper pulp was the subject of family crafts until 1900.
Now paper pulp has a relevant place in Art and is available to anyone who is interested in
creating an object with their hands.
Although very simplified, modern techniques require patience. Paper pulp can be adapted to
the most capricious and surprising shapes. With a little skill you can model fantastic statues
like those made by Mexican artists or tiny figures in the style of the Japanese.
If we focus well on the preparation of this pasta and let our imagination fly to create biblical
stories or images that are related to the biblical themes that we are teaching to the children,
we will be able to get the best out of this material, knowing how to guide the children is the
important thing to motivate them and make them great sculptors.
Some history of paper mache
Paper was first known by the Chinese, the introduction into Western Europe dates back to the
mid-12th century. During the 19th century, paper mache was widely used in England, where
the idea of pouring paper pulp with glue into molds arose, and in France it was called "papier
mache", which means crushed paper. Useful objects were made with the paper pulp, such as
trays, toys, etc.

The Spanish introduced these materials to New Spain and the friars were in charge of teaching
the indigenous people to make crafts with said material. Before the arrival of the Spanish,
paper was used as a substance by the Mayans and Aztecs.

Paper mache is a popular manifestation of Mexican art. Many of the applications of paper
mache had to do with religion and superstitions, such as piñatas decorated with stars, fish,
flowers, small boots, etc., that break. as a tradition in different festivals, or as in the case of
masks, which are currently also made of this material.
With paper mache you can build the most diverse pieces, from works of art to practical things
for everyday use. Its fantastic ductility allows access to the most varied results, from rustic-
looking pieces to finely finished pieces. Stone, clay, metal, marble, wood, ceramic, etc. effects
are achieved.
Furthermore, this technique allows the use of two art disciplines: modeling and painting, which
can achieve high levels of quality in paper mache, like that of Mexican artists.

Ingredients: *newspaper *water *white glue (vinyl glue)

Preparation:
1 .- Tear the newspaper into narrow strips
2 .- Cut the strips into small pieces
3 .- Immerse them in hot water and let them soak for about 24 hours
4 .- Grind them with a blender. Strain the pasta, leaving it somewhat liquid

5 .- Add the white school glue, for each double sheet of paper, one tablespoon of glue
school white. Knead it with your hands.
6 .- Strain it again, pressing with your hands until you have a consistent paste.

7 .- The paper pulp is worked with the fingers, modeling and striking carefully. To cut it and mark it
use a spatula or a stick
8 .- To paint them you must wait until they are completely dry and use plastic paint. In general, the pasta
of paper takes about three days to dry.

the memories of the crafts your child made with paper begin to arrive
crepe, there are different ways to work it and it can be adapted so that
children make beautiful crafts with Christian messages, or as
teacher, you can make striking scenery with this paper and various
crafts for children's ministry events.
This material is very easy to get, in any stationery store or even in large
self-service stores in the school or stationery department we find it there.
It is economical and easy to work and with a great imagination we can create a sin
end of crafts. Let us ask God for wisdom, He will give us a great imagination to
use this material.
Then we will put the step by step to work with this material

There are many craft techniques which little by little we will see and we will achieve, with
the help of our God, acquire the necessary knowledge and skill to work with these
materials. And put them at the service of the Lord.
CRAFTS WITH PURPOSE
WORKSHOP

Given the growing wave of violence and lack of attention to children on the part of
parents, we have as a result the poor teaching of values in the family, which is why
we have created this CRAFTS WITH PURPOSE workshop.

Values and character have been “hot” topics in the last decade.
We have been bombarded with the immoral actions of
government officials, school children, stock traders, and sometimes even our
friends. Books about teaching values to children have reached the top of the New
York Times bestseller list. They all talk about the character of elected officials and
teenagers. God, in his word, has a lot to say about values and character. I think it's
time we listened. Nothing else can be more important than helping our children
learn basic Christian values to guide their lives. BOOK: TEN CHRISTIAN VALUES
THAT EVERY CHILD SHOULD KNOW
Donna J. Habenicht

By teaching different craft techniques, motivational readings, famous phrases, and

impactful verses captured in the crafts, we are able to enter the mind of the child or
adult in order to capture them in their heart.

Record in your mind all the things that I have told you today, and teach them
continually to your children; Talk to them about them, both in your house and
on the road, and when you go to bed and when you get up (…) Also write
them on the posts and on the doors of your house. Deuteronomy 6:6-9

We invite you to learn more about this program created by the Bezaleel School of
Crafts and we put it at your disposal.

Description
Preach the gospel, promote the values and culture of reading in children,
adolescents, adults and seniors.

Development
TMCP can be taught in public and private schools, Christian churches ,
government institutions, etc.
The program is adapted according to the request of those who invite us to teach this
workshop , to the needs of either a school that wants to promote values among its
students or if it wants to promote the culture of reading or if a church wants start a
children's missionary program.
This program adapts to every need.
Here we present some examples developed in the State of Puebla.

Example 1
The DIF of the Municipality of Francisco Z. Mena, Puebla has invited us to carry out
the TMCP in its facilities in the month of October, to promote the timely arrest of
breast cancer .
The theme : TAKE CARE!
Craft to be made: wooden coat rack with a cold porcelain flower made with a
heart-shaped metal cutter
During this workshop, DIF staff spoke about the importance of
timely detection of breast cancer and the importance of
self- exploration, the conference ended with the elaboration of this
craft.

Development of the TMCP : the preparation of cold porcelain, better known in

Mexico as crumb paste, was taught, its basic ingredients and basic figure for
beginners, and how to use metal cutters, which are a very useful tool for people who
have just started. They begin to make crafts, which was the case of these students
who attended since they were surveyed and the majority had not worked with this
material.
Creativity took over our students who also created take care signs with a cold
porcelain flower made entirely by hand.

ARTISAN PLASTER COURSE

(COLD CERAMIC)

INTRODUCTION

Artisanal Plaster crafts are an excellent option to start a business in this sector,
due to the cheapness of the materials and the ease of obtaining them.
The appropriate painting techniques used in this material can form authentic works
of art , without the need to be baked pieces.

We hope that this course is very useful for your work life and that you start your
own company with God's blessing. HAVE FAITH GOD WILL GUIDE YOUR PATH!!
GOD BLESS THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS!
LET'S START NOW!

ARTISAN PLASTER.- It is a plaster manufactured for the production of artisanal

pieces that will later be decorated for marketing. It is a Calcium Sulfate Humidrate
powder of extreme whiteness, high purity, regulated granulometry and a suitable
manufacturing process so that when it reacts with water and dries low
conditions normal, allow you get the greatest resistance
found in beta-type plasters nationwide, it has a low percentage of expansion, which
that guarantees the optimal quality of the molds, already
are made from
synthetic or plaster materials.
FEATURES AND MAIN ADVANTAGES
Artisanal plaster has characteristics that make it the best for making plaster pieces.
1 .- The setting time is short and can be accelerated or delayed depending on the
requirements of the clients' work processes, so that the highest possible productivity
and processability can be obtained.
2 .- The shape or granulometry allows for a more delicate piece in the details,
eliminating “Pink hold” defects, patches and scratches when finishing the surface of the
pieces. Likewise, there is a substantial saving in the decoration of the pieces due to the
minimization of large microscopic pores that increase the absorption of paints or
sealants.
Proportion between plaster and water
It is important to follow the instructions on the proportion between plaster and water,
weighing both with the required accuracy. Variations in the proportion between gypsum
and water have a direct impact on the product characteristics: Absorption capacity
Density
Hardness
Setting time
Sedimentation
Expansion
Durability
sprinkled
Gypsum is always added to water , never the other way around. To mix the plaster,
we recommend using a clean container and clean running water at a constant
temperature . He and so must sprinkle slowly distributing it
evenly over the entire surface of the water. The time for this can vary between 1
and 3 minutes, depending on the size of the batch you want to prepare. If the plaster
is sprinkled too quickly, dense, dry clumps may form that will not disappear during
mixing.
Soggy
The standing time for the plaster to soak well should be between 1 and 2 minutes,
depending on the size of the batch you wish to prepare. Sufficient rest ensures that
each gypsum crystal is surrounded by water and that air bubbles can escape from the
mixture. If the plaster is not allowed to soak sufficiently, air bubbles may remain in
the finished plaster mold. If the rest time is too long, the setting time is shortened,
hardening occurs earlier and the surface acquires a grainy texture.

Mixed
The mixture should be stirred vigorously with the help of clean utensils free of set
plaster, in order to obtain a homogeneous consistency without lumps. The optimal
mixing time depends on the size of the batch to be prepared and the dimensions of the
stirring utensil. If the plaster is not stirred enough it will not mix evenly, and if it is
stirred for too long the mixture will become very thick. In both cases, the effects on
product characteristics are negative. Long mixing times, as a rule, lead to higher
strength, lower absorption capacity and shorter setting time. Vacuum mixed gypsum
has lower absorption capacity, reduced expansion and higher strength
Demolding
Depending on the type of mold to use, you must follow the instructions:
For molds of silicone : Shall apply a lubricant specific or an emulsion
release agent in a layer thinner possible with help from a brush TO
It should then be wiped with a cloth to avoid residue and the formation of unwanted
structures. Incorrect or excessive use of lubricants can cause mold stains and lead to
problems or defects during drying and demolding.
For PVC molds known as chocolate molds: In this type of mold, no release agent will be
used since the PVC itself works as such, you just wait for it to set and that's it. Turn
the mold over and press lightly and the piece will come out on its own.
INSTRUCTIONS:
USE THE PRODUCT UNDER ITS PACKAGING SPECIFICATIONS.
Recommendations:
1 .- It is recommended to use a face mask while preparing the product.
2 .- This product may cause minor skin irritations during setting.
3 .- In case of minor irritation, wash with water.
4 .- Keep out of reach of children .
5 .- Do not ingest this product.
HANDLING AND STORAGE:
1 .- Store the product in a dry and ventilated place.
2 .- Avoid contact of the product with water or humidity.

for chocolate.
Due to their ease of obtaining and working with them, we have created different
finishing and painting techniques on these pieces to achieve different effects of the
which we will obtain an excellent job with the plaster.
How to work plaster in PVC molds
1.- As we mentioned previously, PVC molds do not need a lubricant,
If perhaps a figure is chosen with a very deep relief which is difficult to remove from the
mold
then you can suggest a little baby oil on a napkin and then spread it on
the mold, if in any case it does not have baby oil, you can use Vaseline, be careful
Do not spread too much because it can generate bubbles when the plaster sets.

We will need a container to mix the plaster with the water, a container to pour
the plaster and another to drain water.
How to get the amount of plaster to use in a mold.

This measurement could be obtained if water is poured into the PVC mold we will obtain the
measurement
of the plaster to be used, the step by step to obtain how to get the measurement of the
plaster is as follows:

5. Pour the water into a refractory

6. Then we first pour the water into the container we chose, and then we pour the plaster in
the form of rain, we let the plaster become well moistened, then we mix until
break up the lumps.
7. after mixing, pour into the mold

8. tap the mold lightly to remove the air, the arrow points to the air bubbles
that are coming out when you tap the mold.
9. We leave the mold in a safe place to give it time to set and the piece no longer feels wet.

Since it is completely dry, we will proceed to unmold the piece, turning the mold upside

FALSE FORGING OR FALSE EMBOSSING

Materials:
plaster mold
Artisanal plaster
aluminum foil
White glue
flat brush
Judean bitumen
Piece of t-shirt fabric
Linseed or baby oil

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Before working, we recommend that you use plastic gloves and a face mask, since
the Judean bitumen emits a very strong odor. If you do not have a face mask, we
recommend that you work in a very ventilated place.

ELABORATION
1 .- The plaster is poured into the mold following the previous recommendations for
pouring.

2 .- Once the piece of plaster has completely dried, it is removed from the mold,
and with a
cutter removes excess plaster.
3 .-Then white glue is spread on the entire piece of plaster.
The aluminum foil is immediately placed on the entire piece,
pressing with your fingers and helping us with a napkin or cloth
,to completely adhere the aluminum foil to the piece, it does not matter if
tear the aluminum foil. The idea is that it is completely attached to the
piece of plaster, to make it look like a piece of metal.
4.- Using scissors, cut off the excess aluminum foil
5 .-It is painted with silver metallic paint on the edges of the piece

6 .-then with the brush the Judean bitumen is spread on the entire piece
7 .-Afterwards, a cloth of the T-shirt is impregnated with oil and it is removed from
the
piece the bitumen of Judea, we will notice that it will remain impregnated
The piece is made from Judean bitumen and will give it a wrought-iron finish.

This technique is known in Mexico as false embossing.

FINISHED CRAFTS
METALLIC FINISH

Materials:
1 PVC mold desired figure, in this case we will work with a
figure of grapes.
Metallic paints of the following colors: wine or purple, green, beige or
champagne.

Soft bristle brushes.

1.-we can get metallic paints in some stores

specialists in articles for crafts or ceramics, there are also
places called hardware stores of the artist or painter where we can also
get them, there is an extensive assortment of these metallic colors with the
which you can make various combinations and give your own style to the
plaster pieces.
2.- We start painting the grapes.

3.- We continue with the grape branches, painting them with

metallic green.
4.- Up to this point we have finished painting the two parts that make up the figure
of the grape (branches and grapes)

5.- We start painting the background with the color champagne or beige (or the
tone you want to combine)
6.- we paint the entire background of the piece and wait for it to dry
completely.

RECOMMENDATION: it is necessary to apply two coats of paint, since the

metallic color paint becomes translucent when it dries, this also has
It depends on the quality of the paint, how you see the tone.
What does it take? As soon as it dries, you will decide if you paint again.

RUSTIC FINISH ON PLENOS

Materials:
Plaster figure (any model)
Acrylic paints as necessary depending on the model, in this case
Since the models are sunflowers we will use the following colors:
yellow, brown, green and sky blue.
Judean bitumen
Linseed oil or, failing that, baby oil
Soft bristle brushes and a fan brush
A little piece of t-shirt

*Before starting we make reference to the term plenary sessions, which within the
world of painting means painting in a single color the parts that
they make up a figure, in this case it will be painted with the colors that
correspond to the piece of plaster, it would look like this:
Theme: Sunflowers to the sky
Colors that make up the sunflower: yellow leaves, brown center, and
green branches.
Color that makes up the background: sky blue.

**You can also use house paints, for example in Mexico it is

It is advisable to use the COMEX brand, the VINIMEX line, they only sell it
per liter, this is ideal if you plan to make many pieces for later
sell them, since the costs are better.

PROCEDURE
1.- First we paint the background sky blue.
2.- then we paint the sunflower leaves yellow.
3.- then we paint the branches green and the center of the sunflower brown.

4. We let the plenums dry, we can accelerate their drying with air
hot from the hair dryer.
5 .- we prepare the patina which is the mixture of the Judean bitumen and the
linseed oil, if the latter is not available we can use linseed oil
baby. To prepare it, use a plastic or glass container, not
use disposable containers because Judea frosting ruins the
styrofoam
6 .- the patina is prepared as follows: a tablespoon of bitumen
of Judea and a tablespoon of linseed oil, stir until forming
a uniform color as shown in the photograph.
7 .- The patina is applied to the entire piece of plaster. Without any order from
above
downwards, from right to left, taking good care that the reliefs
(deep holes in the piece) are well impregnated with the mixture.
8 .- Once we have finished applying the patina, we wait 1 minute.

9.- We lightly begin to remove the patina with a cloth or piece of t-shirt fabric

We remove the patina the same way we put it on the piece: up to

down, from right to left, we let the patina stay in the
reliefs gives it that rustic finish, we recommend not removing the patina from
the reliefs (that is, the deep holes)
FINISHED PRODUCT
GRADES
*If you want the figure to be a little darker, add more
Judean bitumen to the patina mixture.
*For best results always use a piece of t-shirt fabric.

*Be careful not to get the patina on your clothes because it does not come off
immediately.
wash, always use an apron and gloves.
RUSTIC FINISH WITH OIL PATINA

Materials:
Plaster piece
Beige or light brown pastel acrylic paint
Burnt sienna oil painting
Linseed oil or baby oil
T-shirt cloth

PROCEDURE

1 .- We give a beige or light brown pastel tone base to our piece of plaster, the
We can apply with a brush since it only comes in one color, then we let it dry.
2 .- In a plastic container or aluminum foil we prepare the oil patina of the
following way: 1 tablespoon of toasted oleosienna paint with a tablespoon of
linseed oil or baby oil, stir and that's it, our patina is ready.
3 .- Since it is ready, the base that we applied to our piece of plaster has dried and has dried,
We proceed to apply the patina (in the same way as the previous piece we worked on),
Then we wait 1 minute for the patina to soak in well.
4.- After the minute we gently remove the patina with the t-shirt cloth.
5.- and that's it, our piece is finished.

METAL TECHNIQUE: COPPER FINISH

Materials
Plaster piece
Metallic paints: copper, silver, gold
Military green acrylic paint
Hard bristle brush
disposable plate

Cloth to clean the brush

1.- We paint the entire piece of plaster with military green acrylic paint, otherwise
You have military green, failing that you can use black, for these finishes
dark colors are used .
2.- Once we finished painting the piece, we let it dry.

3.- We take a disposable container and place silver paint in it.

Then we remove the excess silver paint on a cloth (made of fabric).
preferred t-shirt

We begin to “ponce” the piece (ponce means giving small blows to the piece of
plaster with the brush) when the painting is finished we do the same steps again
previous (load the paint brush, remove the excess and ponce) we apply 2 loads
of silver paint. Applied throughout the piece, we distribute the paint well, open
spaces that will remain unpainted, but those will be filled with other shades of
paint
After placing the 2 loads of silver paint, we continue with the gold paint,
following the same application instructions: (load the paint brush, remove the
excess and poncear) equal two loads
We apply the gold color equally throughout the piece and preferably in the areas
where it was not painted with the silver color.
We finished painting the two tones (silver and gold) so far we have these results
As seen in the photograph, there are still parts of the plaster figure that is
come from the background color (green), we are going to paint them with the
following paint, which is
copper color.

NOTE: for best results we hope that each tone of paint dries well.
We apply the entire piece of plaster, giving preference to areas where there is no
paint. Once this is done we let the piece dry and that's it we're done.

CLARIFYING DOUBTS:
There are areas of the plaster piece that are still green when drying, they can be left
This is part of the metal finish, if you think it looks good to us, you can
Paint it again, either in one tone or again in all three tones.
It can be painted more than twice, you finish your piece as you like.
Mention at the beginning that if you don't have military green acrylic paint you can use
black color, these two tones give different finishes to the piece, you can experiment
and stay with the one you like the most.
You can combine more tone or start with another metal color on this occasion.
We start with silver but if you wish you can start with another color, rather than
We didn't want to give a copper effect to our piece, that's why we applied that order,
but you
you can make your own mixes. Try it, it's fascinating to invent your own style, so
the great plastic artists were born
PEARLY
Materials
Plaster piece
White acrylic paint
Red acrylic paint
Green acrylic paint
Fan brush
Soft bristle brush
pearlescent powder
Porcelainizer

Disposable container

We painted the base of this figure white, that is, around the flowers.
For this technique we use pastel tones, so we are going to paint the flowers in pastel
pink, and what we are going to do is lower the tone of the paint with white paint.

When we have the pastel pink tone ready, we will proceed to paint the petals of the
flower
We continue with the green in the same way we reduce it with white paint to achieve
the pastel green tone, we apply it and wait for it to happen.
Then on a disposable plate we place porcelain (this product is sold
in specialized craft or ceramic paint stores to apply it
Follow the instructions on the porcelain maker packaging, each brand has different
instructions apply the ones that come in the one you buy) with the fan brush
We place the porcelain over the entire piece .

PROCEDURE

We clean our plaster jewelry box well with a cloth to remove excess
dust, we paint the entire jewelry box with the desired color. In this case, the color was
chosen
beige or pastel brown. We hope it dries completely
Once the jewelry box is dry, we draw the African design with carbon paper.
We painted the areas that were stained by the carbon paper again, and

Then we began to paint according to the colors that were chosen,

First we paint the body, then the details of the arms, then the decoration that
wears on the chest we gave it a pastel gray base.
Then we began to color the necklaces, with different colors, such as the
African art (we recommend reading the introduction to African tribal art)
Then with an auxiliary accessory for finishing “ball paint” this accessory has
Various sizes of punches to paint different sizes of balls. We load the
punch in this case we choose the small sizes.
And we started to paint the dots on the first necklace. Every time we are going to
make a point we must load the punch with more paint.
So we started filling all the necklaces with dots of different sizes and
colors. First we draw the necklace with a liner brush and then we place the points,
We also place points in areas where the collars are not, as shown in the
photograph the blue dots, more than anything you give the design based on what you

about African art that will give you an idea and open your imagination to elaborate
surprising combinations.
In the photographs we see the advanced work, we have already painted the details of
the
head, earrings, etc.

We paint the hair with a liner brush and black paint.

We finished the details with the image of the Africans, now we will proceed to give the
details to the jewelry box, we take a stiff bristle brush and ponce around the
image (remember that this technique is developed as follows:
We begin by loading the tips of the brush with a little paint, remove the excess and
unload the paint on the piece)
After finishing all the details, we outline the figure with a liner brush and paint.
black, preferably buy ultra-glossy black paint to give a better finish.
Here we finish painting the lid of the jewelry box

We continue with the jewelry box container, we give it a second layer of the base color
that we chose, we let it dry, and then in a disposable plate we mixed coffee
dark, white and the base color that we gave to the entire jewelry box piece (pastel

With a sponge we will perform the “sponging” technique on the jewelry box container.

the sponging is done with a piece of sponge and acrylic paint

The flowers begin to be painted.
With indelible ink marker we mark the features of the face.
Then with a liner brush and black acrylic paint we outline the entire figure.
When we finish outlining the entire figure, we fill the eyes with black and white and
the lips with pink.
With red pastel chalk and a cotton swab we painted the badges of the
figure

So far we have finished the lid of the jewelry box

Then we painted the base of the jewelry box all black.
And that's it we're done, for greater fixation of the paint we recommend spraying

FOLDER OR PAPER MACHE
The cartapesta, an ancient technique used by many cultures,
has allowed us to create from the simplest objects
to the most elaborate theatrical sets.

The folder technique is excellent for working with
children due to the ease of working with the materials.
It is a very good option when the budget
is little for crafts, since the materials
that are used are quite economical and accessible.
We recommend the folder, to work in the Bible Schools of
Holiday crafts.
Since most churches have a budget problem, this
technique is excellent since only newspaper, cardboard, glue are used
white, napkin, etc. Materials that are easy to obtain and very economical,
some are probably free of charge, you can ask the
church members. A few months before VBS starts you can

Fomi brown, meat, white
Black vinyl paint
thin brush
Scissors
Albanene or tracing paper
Number 2b pencil
Pastel chalk any tone
Inflatable paint any color
Indelible ink pen
A sprig of dried wheat.
1.-transfer the cow pattern to albanene or tracing paper with indelible ink marker

2 .- since we transfer the design to the albanene or tracing paper, we turn it over and highlight it with the 2b
pencil, we highlight it about two times so that it releases enough carbon to transfer the image to the foam

3 .- Now that we have finished highlighting, we turn it over to transfer it to the foam, we do this in the
following way: we press the Albanene paper with the cow design on the white foam, and we are going to
notice how the ink from the 2b pencil is Go to the foam, this will help us leave the design well printed on the
foam.
4.- We cut out each piece accordingly and glue them.
5.-We outline the outline with an indelible ink pen and mark the little spots on the cow either
with the same pen or if you like with black vinyl paint.
6.- We immediately painted the wooden towel holder white.

7.- Once the paint has dried, we take the oil chalk and outline the figure, marking it, the chalk
begins to release dust, we blow on the dust so that it does not stain the piece of wood.
8.- with our finger we blend the chalk to give it a shaded finish.
9.- with the inflatable paint we make waves or any design that you. Like it to give it a different touch.
