THE FOX AND THE STORK

One day, the fox invited the stork to eat a delicious lunch. The trickster little fox served
the soup on some flat, very flat plates, and with a few licks he finished his meal.

The stork's beak was filled with water, but since the plate was flat, very flat, and its beak
was long, very long, it couldn't take a single bite. nip.

- Didn't you like lunch, Mrs. Stork? -the fox asked him,
licking his lips.

"Everything was very delicious," she said. Now I want to

invite him. Tomorrow I'll wait for you to eat at my house.

The next day, the stork served the food in tall bottles with
very narrow necks. So narrow that the fox couldn't even get the tip of its snout inside.

The stork, on the other hand, put its long, very long beak into the bottle and ate every
last bite. Then, looking at the fox, who was dying of hunger, he said, laughing:
- Apparently, Mr. Fox, you liked my food as much as I liked yours.

The fox left without a word, with its tail between its paws. The cheater cannot protest
when his cheat is returned to him.

SILVERSMITH
He came, sometimes, thin and sick, to the
garden house. The poor man was always running
away, accustomed to screams and stones. The same
dogs showed their teeth at him. And he left again,
with the midday sun, slow and sad, down the
mountain.
That afternoon, he arrived behind Diana. When I
was leaving, the guard, who in a fit of bad heart had
pulled out his shotgun, shot him. I didn't have time to
avoid it. The poor man, shot in the belly, turned
quickly for a moment, howled, and fell dead under a
tree.
Platero looked at the dog intently, raising his head. Diana, trembling, walked
around hiding from one person to another. The guard, perhaps repentant, gave long
reasons to he didn't know who. A veil seemed to put the sun in mourning; a large veil,
like the tiny veil that clouded the dead dog's healthy eye.

HOW TO GROW?

A king went to his garden and discovered that his trees, bushes and flowers were
dying.

The Oak Tree told him that he was dying because he couldn't be as
tall as the Pine Tree.

Turning to the Pine Tree, he found it fallen because it could not bear
grapes like the Vine. And the Vine was dying because it could not bloom
like the Rose.

The Rose cried because she could not be as tall and solid as the Oak. Then he
found a plant, a Strawberry, blooming and fresher than ever.

The king asked:

-How do you grow healthy in the middle of this withered and

gloomy garden?

- Don't know. Maybe it's because I always assumed that when you planted me,
you wanted strawberries. If you had wanted an Oak or a Rose, you would have planted
them. At that moment I told myself: “I will try to be Strawberry in the best way I can.”

You are here to contribute your fragrance. Just look at yourself. There's no
chance for you to be another person. You can enjoy it and flourish watered with your
own love for yourself, or you can wither in your own condemnation…

FABLE: “THE LIAR SHEPHERD”

Once upon a time there was a very joking and lying shepherd. Every day, when he
returned home, after having taken his flock to pasture, he ran into the village shouting:
- The wolf is coming! The wolf is coming!
Upon hearing the screams, all the inhabitants went into their houses, scared to death.
And they stayed locked up there until they heard the shepherd again:
- Ha ha ha! Is not true! It was just a joke! Fools!
And every day the villagers looked grumpily at the shepherd who always walked away
laughing.
Every day... Until... Do you know what happened?
One day, like so many others, the shepherd ran back to town. He shouted as much or
more than on other occasions:
- The wolf is coming! The wolf is coming!
But this time he ran faster than normal and also shouted louder than normal... However,
the villagers did not pay any attention to him, already fed up with the fact that the
shepherd had deceived them so many times...
And do you know how it all ended? Clear! This time it was true that the wolf was
coming. And since no one in the town paid attention to him, the shepherd was left
without sheep, because the wolf ate them all.
