1. PRESENTATION.
The Weekly Work Report Notebook is a control document, in which the student records daily, during the week, the tasks and
operations carried out in their practical training at SENATI and in the Company.
2.1 In the rotation table, the student will record the name of the areas or sections through which he rotates during his
practical training, specifying the start and end date.
2.2 Based on the PEA provided by the instructor, the student transcribes the PEA in the report notebook. The student will
record and control their progress, marking in the corresponding column.
2.3 On the weekly report sheet, the student will record the work he or she performs daily, indicating the corresponding
time. On the day you attend the center for the technology sessions, you will record the content you develop. At the
end of the week it will total the hours.
Of the tasks executed during the week, the student will select the most significant one and make a description of the
execution process with corresponding diagrams and drawings that clarify said process.
2.4 Weekly, the student will record their attendance in the corresponding lockers.
2.5 Weekly, the Monitor will review and write down the observations and recommendations that he considers; The
Instructor will review and rate the Report Book making the observations and recommendations that he considers
appropriate, in the aspects related to the preparation of a Technical Report (technical terms, technical drawing,
description of the task and its procedure, technical standards, safety, etc. .)
2.6 If the PEA has fewer operations (151) than indicated in this format, you can delete some pages. Also, for the report of
subsequent weeks, you must add the corresponding weeks.

Change of oil and filters of the Nissan CD-20 engine and tests to check the thermostat and thermoswitch.
Description of the process: Well the materials you use to change the oil and filters are: A filter wrench, a funnel, a
drain container, wrenches, gloves and new filters.
• The first step: What we did was find the Carter oil drain plug and place a container under the drain plug if we
do not want to stain the entire floor, contaminate and fill everything with oil. Any container to collect all the
oil and place a plastic bag to facilitate subsequent cleaning.
• The second step: With the help of a wrench, we carefully loosen the engine crankcase plug and remove the
plug by hand so as not to apply too much pressure. Remember that the oil can be hot, so be careful and
remove your hand immediately after removing the cap. We let all the engine oil come out, so we began to
look for and remove the oil filter. With the help of a filter wrench, we loosened and took out the filter and
then placed the new filter. Therefore, before placing the new filter I had to lubricate it with oil on its gasket so
that the next time it is removed it will not stick.
• The third step: We place the new filter by hand and then adjust with the filter wrench, when all the oil has left
the tank, we place the crankcase plug by hand and then we adjust with the wrench just a few times since
when tightening the screw of the crankcase could break or the thread could be stolen.
• The fourth step: After having placed the crankcase plug and the new filter, we poured the new oil into the oil
tank so as not to overdo it or fall short. I measured with the oil dipstick until I managed to get it stained at an
interval between the two notches on the rod.
Thermostat and thermoswitch verification tests: Well, the materials we used for this procedure were: A multimeter,
thermometer, an electric stove, a bulb thermometer, pyrometer, a nanometer and a pot to place the thermostat and
thermoswitch.
Well, the first thing we did was look for the materials, then place the electric stove and then place the pot with water
in the kitchen and inside the pot there should be the thermostat and the thermoswitch and with the help of the
temperature measurement materials we were calculating the time and temperature at which the thermostat opens
as well as seeing if the thermoswitches are good for operation, after 30 minutes the water began to boil reaching
90ºC - 100ºC and with the help of a cable or wire we removed the thermostats and We could see that they were open
which meant that they were good for operation, then with the help of the multimeter we began to measure or test
the thermoswitches which of the four one did not function which was discarded.
