The Automotive Mechatronics career, belonging to the Industry sector, is created first of all
by the demand from automotive workshops for young graduates with knowledge of
automotive electronics, depending on the growth of the vehicle fleet.
The student is prepared in Automotive Mechatronics to work in large, medium and small
companies that provide automotive service. Trained to perform fault diagnosis tasks,
general repairs, system repairs

electronic computerized, preventive maintenance, gas emissions, execution of vehicle
overhaul with electronic and conventional technology.
The Samuel Foundation has more than 15 years of experience in the field of technical
training at an international level. The facilities have the most modern equipment, teaching
materials and tools.

5. Training program
The 2009-2010 study plan for the Automotive Mechatronics Technician of the Samuel
Foundation Training Center consists of the following stages: leveling stage, specialized
stage and practice stage in the company.
Leveling stage: It lasts approximately 16 weeks, the purpose of which is to level students'
knowledge in mathematics, communication, English, computing, human training and
sports. In this stage, students acquire the academic tools to face the following stages.
Specialized stage (12 months): The student is offered specific training in the specialty of
Automotive Mechatronics. The subjects taught are:
Practice stage in the company (3 months): Students work for a period of three months in
companies related to the specialty to develop their technical and human knowledge. It ends
with an evaluation process carried out in the Foundation at the end of said stage. The
purpose of the internship in the company is to familiarize the student with the future work
environment in an organization and to complement the training received at the Foundation
with what they are able to acquire in the company and the connection with new technology
and work procedures. The companies selected for the participation of our students in this
process are leading companies in the specialty.
6. Title
The graduate of the Samuel Foundation Training Center obtains the title of Automotive
Mechatronics Technician.
