SERVICENOW SAM PRO CONSULTANT - This role is customer facing, requiring excellent oral and written
communication skills. Availability during the business day between 8 am – 5 pm EST is required.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Now Software Asset Management (SAM)
Pro Consultant ant to join our team on a contract basis.
As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with software licensing
agreements, optimizing license usage, and implementing best practices to maximize software
investments.
Key qualifications for this role include a strong background in IT service management, experience
with Service Now SAM Pro, and the ability to analyse and define requirements while communicating
with stakeholders from technical specialists to executive leadership.
Qualification:
Experience meeting deadlines and managing expectations around project deliverables
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience in software asset management with a focus on Service Now's SAM Pro module
Familiarity with software licensing models, compliance, and audit processes
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate asset records
Experience with excel or other data analysis tools
Experience with business requirements gathering and analysis
Understanding of information processing concepts and practices and data hygiene
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to proactively identify and resolve software asset management challenges
Certification in IT Asset Management (e.g., IAITAM, CSAM) is a plus
