 Home Tab

There are five groups in this ribbon.

 The Font Group
▪ To change the appearance of the text, click on the Home Tab.
We can use the commands in the Font Group.
▪ Select the text area you wish to change and then click on the
command you want. Increase Font Decrease Font

 The Font Group
In another way ,
▪ Click on Dialog box launcher in font group. It will open following
Font window and can do all the changes at once using Font
window.

 The Paragraph Group
▪ When you are working with paragraphs you can use align and indent tools
rather than using tab key to align the paragraphs.
▪ When you want to have spaces between paragraphs it's a good practice to
use paragraph spacing rather than using the Enter key or Return key to
keep spaces between paragraphs.

The Paragraph Group

▪ Click on Dialog box launcher in Paragraph
group. It will open following Paragraph
window and can do all the changes at once
using paragraph window.

 The Clipboard Group
▪ You’re not limited to only pasting the last item you copied or cut when you
use the Clipboard task pane.
▪ The Clipboard task pane holds many of the last images and text you
copied or cut.

 Changing the Page Layout
The Page Layout Tab
There are three groups in this tab, Page Setup, Paragraph and
Arrange.

▪ Use the Dialog box launcher to get

the Page Setup Dialog Box. You
can change the Margins, Page
orientation and Page size using this
Dialog Box.
