information Communications skills are an essential part of both workplace professionalism and career
advancement. This course is designed to give students a solid foundation in reading and writing
skills and to prepare them for success in their programs of study and future careers. Through
lectures and a variety of reading and writing assignments, students are provided with the
opportunity to develop proficiency in fundamental communication skills in English
