RISKS PREVENTION
Through the application of measures and the development of the necessary activities to prevent
risks derived from work conditions, having as a fundamental tool the risk assessment developed in
each company, in this case INDIPOL. For this reason, the safety devices for “risk prevention” must
be reviewed during each maintenance, whether preventive or corrective.
Based on the analysis of the risks presented by the machinery and equipment, the risk degree
percentages generated by the machinery and equipment are concluded:
Based on the analysis and determination of the degree of risk, it provides the necessary
knowledge for the safe operation and maintenance of the machinery and equipment used in
INDUSTRIA DE DISEÑO EN POLIMEROS, SA DE CV
II. SCOPE:
All areas of the work center where machinery and equipment is owned and used for the activities
carried out in the different areas.
III. RESPONSIBILITIES:
III.1 Plant manager:
a) Review and approve this safety procedure
b) Define the policies in this document

of machinery and equipment.
Board4 Activities by position
Power blocking will be carried out before and during maintenance of machinery and equipment,
complying with the following:
1. It must be carried out by the person in charge or responsible for maintenance of the
machinery and equipment.
2. The workers involved must be notified in advance when the energy block is carried out.
3. Identify switches, valves and points that require immobilization
4. Block energy in panels, controls or equipment, in order to de-energize, deactivate or
prevent the operation of machinery and equipment.
5. Place warning cards that comply with: rectangular shape, visible from at least one meter
away, warning that the equipment is deactivated and prohibiting the activation of the
equipment and the removal of the cards by workers other than maintenance.
The signaling of electrical risk and high voltage must comply with the following characteristics:
